Console Light works again. Yay (pic)

Wasn't working for 6 months, it feels nice to see my console light up again.

Looks nice. It's funny how little things like that make quite a difference.

Is it supposed to be Blue?, or is that something you did to it, cause mine is a gross yellowish color.

Yes, it is something that I did to it to make it that way Its amazing how people don't notice it in the pictures. Like how the "P" is white instead of red, or how the thing is bright blue instead of a nasty yellowish white color..

I noticed... I think it looks good blue. The yellow color is nasty.

What did you do to it?, That looks really good, did you just replace the yellow plastic peice with a white one and use a blue bulb or blue plastic/white bulb?

A friend of mine did the actual change, its basically Electrolumienscent tape. A little bit of fannagling and breaking stuff makes a good lighted console

Plus that white moves with the shifter.

Not really, my friend did this mod over a year ago, and I really can't remember too much about the process.

The tape is in between the white plastic and the black clear part where the letters are. Just basically stick it in there, tape it down, get an inverter to convert the power and have fun.

Thats about it.

Yeah, I think you have to break it to put the white face overlay on it. I used some sort of epoxy glue to put it back together.
