TPS Enhancement mod- eBay
Probably not the most appropriate forum, but...
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...category=33597
Is it just me or does that sound like bs.
It's almost believable... until they claim an over 200 ft.-lb increase at half throttle!!

OMG, An increase of 200 Ft/lbs, what a load of BS, theres nothing like an enhancements that is lieing about the true position of the tps to give the motor more gas but with less air

Yes it sounds strange that changing the tps would give you 200 FT/lbs just like that. So id say it smells bs.

What's really sad is that if you look at his feedback, there are plenty of morons that bought that POS and are actually happy with it.
That mod is completely bogus, but even if it was a legit mod... you could do the same thing with an LED, a resistor, some lamp cord and some colored wire loom for under $10.

well, technically it DOES work...at 50% throttle the computer thinks it's at 75% or so...but it does give you more hp at lower rpms...i can only imagine how horribly rich the cylinders run, the pooling has to be horrible, and it can't have any positive effects on gas mileage...my question is, how does the computer react to full throttle being 130% or whatever it is? does the damn thing level out so that 45% is 45%, 50% is 75%, 75% is 80% etc until it hits 100% actual throttle and actually sends 100%?

From A to Z you can find it on e-bay, from the real to fake you'll get it on e-bay. If you get screwed outta your money, just remember you got it on eeeeeee-bay.

I doubt this will even help low rpm response. The engine is only going to suck so much air regardless of how much is available. It may *feel* like you get more horsepower because at part-throttle it's going to think it's at full throttle, but your maximum horsepower at any given RPM isn't going to change.
