Would this wing look ok on a Firebird

I remember seeing this wing on a Camaro one day at school, looked ok. I am wondering how good it will look on a Firebird. I drew one on my car and it looks great from the rear, but I am not sure about how it looks from the front.

Here, wing 136

Here is what it might look like on a TA from the rear. It would probably look better if it wasn't so high.

I am very interested in a Mecham style wing myself. How hard would it be to make one from my existing wing, which seems to be what the Mecham wing was based on.

It looks like it's based on the 85-90 Trans Am wing but it's not. The wing was developed in 1982, long before the newer Trans Am wing.

It does look like you could build one based on that wing however. I remember some people here trying to get Mecham to reproduce the wing. GTAuto can't do the wing because of Mecham. So I would think that is you did make one it would bea one-off and you would need to keep it to yourself...

I think it will have to be a one off thing. If it turns out I have to have one made, I might as well get one made in a design I really like, because it will be expensive to have one custom made, unless I practice and do it myself. I once made a fiberglass console and it turned out ok, so doing a wing should not be all that difficult.

For a one off wing, I was thinking of a hi - rise wing that had longer, sloped end plates, a little shorter, and having the pedestals in the same location as my stock wing.

I wanted to get a stock wrap around wing or the 4th gen style wing, but they cost $400 and up.

this is the closest thing i've seen to a mecham wing i know i may never find one or someone who has one will never work a deal with mecham.

That wing would be perfect for me. I don't mind the stock TA wing its just I would liked if the ends sloped more and had a slight lip on the back just like in that wing pictured.

That looks like the "Killer Z Wing" available from Motion Glass. The problem is, it is only as wide as the hatch, which makes it about 4.5 inches narrower than the car. without spoiler. I really like that spoiler and would own it if it were only as wide as the car. It would look like something is missing on a Firebird, the stock Camaro spoiler under it really helps the way it looks in that pic.
