make sure their parents ARE doing just that. kids that do this kinda **** usually got parents who don't teach 'em discipline so they go ahead and do whatever the hell they want. in a few years they'll wanna start stealin 'em.

also make sure you get paid for all the damages.

that really sux. hope you get everything straightened out.

well the kids trespassed on your property then vandalized it. call those damn parents up and make em pay for everything that is broken, if they refuse to pay i'm sure you could easily win such a case in court

Definetly report it to the police.

Your best option is to report it, scare the HELL out of the children(s) parents by doing just that. Estimate your damage and turn that over to the parents. Let them split it up and pay you for your damages.

Once they do that, drop the charges. Just file those complaints to show them you mean business. If you don't, they will just d*ck you around for as long as they can.

Id def get the money, and then drop charges. Will scare the crap out of parents, unless they offer to pay immediately for it, then I wouldnt. I remember when my car got vandalized at work by an employee. The kid was borederline retarded, so I doubt he thought there was much wrong with it, and he was genuinely sorry. I didnt press charges, but he offered to pay and admitted to something he easily couldve gotten away with. So this got resolved with the store manager, me and him. Oh that manager with his infinite wisdom thought that me wanting 60 dollars to fix a 2 foot key scratch on my fender was ripping him off. So he made me get 3 estimates before I could ask for money. He was sure it would be cheaper than what I asked. Well, after I got my 3 estimates, the 60 dollar offer was gone and I got 260 from the cheapest estimate. Never have had a problem since.

The next week, at work, my best friend decided to be funny and put a shopping cart on my back decklid. I was pissed. The front end person at the supermarket kept yelling at me for car stuff (I eventually quit, I now have my mom wait in line when shes doing stuff because my mom can be EVIL at the supermarket), and told me basically not to drive the car and would not let me go outside and look without me being yelled at. SO I found out eventually it was my friend, told him off, and told him at the time anyone else would be arrested for doing it and he didnt realize the implications on how it would damage it. Put a few scratches in the back of it. These incident were all with the camaro. T/A, immediate police regardless of who does it.

People are so dumb in what kind of damage they do without knowing it. LIke writing on dust. I had to buff out wash me written on my buddies 93 formula, but I got 2 hours of unsupervised driving in it. And my t/a when red and bondo, a friend figured the paint was shot it doesnt matter (I used to rest wrenches and soda cans on it when it was like that and I was woriking on it), which it was, but he drew, lets just call them "rocket ships" all over it and I freakin had to buff them out before my father got home and I got interesting questions on why my friends are bozos.

Ages 9-15? Geez, little bastards.

I agree with the others, definately report it to the police and get the parents to pay for it. Hell, tell them the kids scratched the door and get them to pay for that too

FASTER THEN A SPEEDING TICKET!
And Way Hotter Then Your Sister... The Hybrid!
Half 87 IROC-Z Half 87 GTA

Wouldn't that make you a GT-Z?

You should get some badges made up for the ground fx, bumper, and dash that say GT-Z on them.

Do I dont know how much a hatch is. I'm accually moving about 2 miles away from were I live now. I'm getting a new townhouse in Champlin. If you know where downtown Anoka is, I live about 2 minutes south of that over the champlin/anoka bridge.

I see your having car troubles. Did you get the door fixed yet?

I would say you came out ahead with 450 bucks worth of gas money.
