Some New Pics of my Vert

I took a couple new pics of my car the other day when i was bored. In comparison to the "before" shots which i had taken about a year and a half ago, i've replaced clear turn signals, new front turn signals, iroc decals, couple of motor things but i didn't take pictures of that, white faced gauges (i'll upload those pics later tonight), and overall just trying to get the car back to original form. Tell me what you guys think

Here are some "before" pics

And here are some pics after i've claybarred the car to death and added those little detailing things. I know its not a huge change, but in my eyes the car looks tons better than it used to.

Alright well thats it for now, i know its nothing all that special but thats my baby

Nice car, just curious though. Why red letters?

i chose the red because i thought it'd make a nice contrast. I have the MSD red wires, my LED gauges are red, and my amp also lights up red so i just thought i'd make the whole car a red/white scheme. Oh here's a pic of the white faced gauges, and as you can see these are also like a white/red scheme thing. I know its a lame reason but i'm happy with the way the red decals look on the white car.

and here's a terrible pic of how they light up at night, they look much better in person but it can give you a general idea i guess

Car looks Great!!
I see yours is an '88, how comes it has the spoiler extension on the door? Btw, is that piece only there on the passenger side - I couldn't see it on the drivers side?

Good job on it anyway!

Looks great. I like the red letters. Have you thought of painting your needles red?

I remember reading one of *****'s posts a while back saying that the 87 verts had that spoiler extension as well as verts that were built in early 88 so i'm assuming my car to be one of those. And very good eye chevyken and camaro6spd I am missing the piece on the drivers side, unfortunately i can't find it anywhere. And camaro6spd it does seem as if the drivers side door is painted a different color. Seems the previous owner didn't take all that good care of this car when he had it, i just replaced the shocks/struts last month with kyb's in place of the ORIGINAL struts/shocks. Not too concerned about paint right now either since i'm working at a body shop this summer i'm hoping to learn how to do it myself.

Oh and also the front gfx is from a 91-92, previous owner put that one on too. Surprised no one noticed that heh

It looks kind of like a Micro Machine in that 2nd "after" picture to me

Anyways, serious question though: where can I order new front turn signals? Whats the P/N from GM? I wetsanded them with 2000 and polished them, but they're still kinda crummy looking.

run a quick search on the boards to find the p/n. I bought mine from the body shop that i work at and they were an aftermarket repo but were cheaper than the gm parts

Okay, I always thought that the spoiler extensions were an 87 (and 86) thing only. I have them too, so I always tend to notice them on other Verts.

Oh, and yeah - I did actually notice the 91-92 spoiler, but that kind of an obvious later addition
