White or Black

Hi i'm new to this board and i have a 91 camaro rs and i just bought a SS hood for my car and i want to do a new paint job with the racing stripes. I'm either going to do red with black or red with white stripes. What is your guys opinion? If any one can post any pics of cars with the ss hood and racing stripes it would really be appricated
Thanks Scott

I think red with white would look neat.

i think both look awesome so youre pretty much in the clear. I absolutly love the black id say i probably prefer it but my car came from the factory with white and looked super nice with the old colour so im partial to that too. Either way best of luck because you have picked the 2 hardest colours to keep looking nice....white gets dirty so fast and its virtually impossible to get the swirl marks out of black.

Red with black looks much meaner in my opinion.

I saw a blue camaro with white stripes the other day. I think it depends on what look you're going for. Red with white would stand out - be an attention gettter. Red with black - I agree with MetalliCamaro, looks mean.

Black.
You will learn fast that asking for opinions on these boards is almost pointless. there are too many of us. You will almost always get either 50-50 opinions or people that will say not to change your car. Its all good though, as long as you are an fbody guy/gal

Not necessarily true. As long as people give reasons for their opinions, we can base our decisions on that. I've already come to a rim color conclusion through others' opinions.
