Decided to put the 91 tails on the Formula

Didn't feel like having them sit in my room any longer so I stuck them on the formula.
Looks great too,

Coooool

Those do look killer on there. Now just take a little thinner & wash the remaining lettering of those taillamps & then polish them. If you want to replace the lettering to make em look new, I have a website for you. ( www.autographics.com ) They have several decals for the third gen firebirds.

if you could get letters made to look like those in red or silver and have them read "FORMULA" that'd be pretty slick

They fit all year Firebirds.

I too think it would look cool with Formula on the back, but I may just go with a red Pontiac overlay.

Whoever designed the back bumper cover and brace should be shot. Took me an hour or so to change the license plate light assembly. The connector for the light doesn't fit through the tiny gap that is between the cover and the brace.

I also spent almost 2 hours tracing wires and checking bulbs since my pass rear turn signal stopped blinking. Turns out it was the flasher module under the dash. Every other light flashed except for the rear pass side one.

It will be done soon.

Everywhere I go, the first question asked is always "Is the Trans Am done?" I should have a shirt made that says "The Trans Am is still down, so don't ask if it's done yet."

In another post, Zepher explains what happened. Something about some guys that were beat up by Zeph's brother on New Year's Eve came to the house, kicked Zeph's tail light in, and shot a weapon at the garage door!!!

I think we should gather a bunch of TGO members together to go over there as a mob and find our little friend...

Ouch, those Taillights are hard to come by cheap. I do like the 91-92 Lights because the grids are much finer than the 85-90 style.

Am I the only one that thinks the 91-92 tails look out of place on the older style Formulas? No offense to anyones opinion, I just like the Formula tails on a pre 91 Formula. Don't really know what it is.

I think its the black plastic parts in the rear bumper. I like em in the 91-92 Formulas with the smoother bumper.

Anyway, Zehper, sorry to hear about them in any case. That sucks that people feel the need to break everything.

Well, the 91-92 lights were originally for my 86 Trans Am, but it was much easier to adapt them to the formula since it already had a separate blinker.
The base lights don't look too bad on the T/A though,

I use either a jack stand or drum for wheel chocks, don't want the car rolling down into the street.
