bright yellow camaro

hey guys i have been pondering with the idea of painting my new camaro that i am getting(85 IROC-Z) bright yellow because there arnt any around here like that and i like to stick out and get noticed in my camaros and i think yellow will be a nice step up from black with white racing stripes like my last Z and also im pretty sure rear tail light black outs will go nice with bright yellow.
can i please see some pics of bright yellow camaros to help me make my choice to stay black or go yellow like i have wanted too

saw a yellow one driving around here once. Nearly crashed my drivers ed car into a pole trying to get a look at it. Definitly attention grabbing, thats not necessarily a good thing though. I really didnt like it but it was almost possible to pull off because it had the black iroc louvers so the contrast saved it.

im looking for more of a brighter yellow maybe a neon yellow just brighter then the last couple of pics .

im thinking about having it bright yellow with 17 inch chrome C5 rims rear tail light black outs and eather black or white IROC-Z decals on the doors, 4 inch cowl induction hood, Z28 high rise spoiler, clear side markers. shaved door handles and antenna.

lol i crave attention i love it when people stare at my car while im driving it expecialy the chicks

also my car will have 4th gen dash, middle console, and seats

Yellow is the absolute best color for 3rd gen camaros. The best and brightest shade of yellow is the new corvette yellow. You can purchase it from gm for $80 per gallon.

tpi383 you almost gave me an orgasm

you said it all in the beginning. you said you want it yellow....i think you know what's the right decision. try lamborghini yellow. it's a basic yellow like you see on the above but it has a green pearl in it which sounds odd but is unbelievable. very cost effective, easy to paint and quite rare. check it out.

Yellow is awesome. I went with the vivid canary yellow. I'm trying to post a picture but it keeps telling me that the picture is to big. I will try to down size it. If you want you can go to http://www.fbodyeurope.org/ and click on the cars and on the home page you will see my car.

this is the color i speak of. it's an off the shelf combination making it very affordable and the green is so subtle you don't notice it but you get that pearl effect that makes it glow. it's unbelievable in person.....very sharp.

What brand paint are you getting for $80 a gallon? I just bought some primer today and got prices on PPG omni paint and it varies from $110 - $220 a gallon depending on the color.

The Corvette yellow is $80/gal. Not the Lamborghini's. I like that yellow of the Lambo though. Hmm...makes me think.

the color i was talking about is standard in most aspects and is fairly in expensive....it's the pearl which makes it custom and causes the price of the paint job itself to go up. that's all things the painter can explain to you when the time comes.

yellow has always been a cool looking color on 3rd Gen Irocs. Most are red so yellow looks good. Its different. Now im not sure about neon yellow lol. that sounds a little to much But yellow with black stripes looks sharp.

Sorry, but i don't think your gonna find another car painted the same color, this is a custom blend and very expensive. but you could print off the picture and take it to a reputiable paint supply dealer and see what they can do for ya.

Here's the only other pics of that car that i have.

that's a bit over the top for a daily driver/weekend cruiser. if it's a show car that's a different story.

its going to be a show and go car pretty much. all i used my last z for was cruze around looking for chicks all daya little bit of toying around with ricers and going to the store here and there i think it would be a bad *** color to have i want something that will stick out i like that color alot.

i would alwase get asked from my friends parents why i drive around and waste gas so much lol and id tell them because i bought the car to waste gas in its not a grocery getter its sole purpose is to have fun in it.

Quick question for you guys. Don't want to hijack this thread or anything, but I was wondering something. My car (posted a few pics up from this) I'm def getting painted. Right now, it's either going to be millenium yellow, or I was thinking of going with a blue color. If I go with blue, I want to change the whole interior to a tan color. What do you think? Go with the millenium yellow, or change to blue and rework the entire interior?
