Burnout PIcs
Me and del91_305(Dustin) went out today in his car and took some pics of burnouts. This is the best one, let's see yours and let us know what you think of this one.

taken witha digital camera of a video on my compter monitor cause i dont know how to make vidcaps, held a brake burn for like 3 seconds, cause i'm not a big fan of putting a lot of strain on the car at the one time.

Thanks alot for the comments. As you can see the front wheel dont match the back. I have a set of I-Roc wheel with some old tires on them that i use just for burnouts

hey WaOnFiRe, dont take it the wrong way! your car does kick *** since its a 2.8 and can burn rubber like that! some people might not realize that you've got a 6 under that hood, and i was just pointing that out. plus, i'm not bashing on your v6.... i've got one too! sorry if you misunderstood my original post..

. you dont have to mash the brake pedal down, just enough to stop the car from moving Senior Member

its going to put a little more wear on your drum brakes but if your doing a burnout in the first place you usually dont care about a little extra wear and tear

easy way to start a burnout in an automatic. put the car all the way down into first, have your foot on the brake a little to prevent the car from launching, put your foot to the floor and slowly put more presure on the brake until the car stops moving. when you want to take off, take your foot off the brake and youre off, make sure your friend is with you though, you have to get pics if the burnout is that good. if you want lots of smoke, bleach does wonders

Are all of your tires free or something?
Because mine are!!!! My auto service teacher owns a tire shop and he said i can take any of his old tires. I have a set of 15" z28 rims for the burnout tires, and IROC's for my expensive rubber.

my tires were $600 for the set of 4, before i got the new ones, the car didnt want to go anywhere when i put my foot in it, so i had to get new ones. now that i have them, the car doesnt want to let them loose unless i try.

a picture from when we made the 3rd gen video that was posted here a while back. Keep in mind that there are TWO white verts in that top half of the pic, mine is the one on the right hand side barely visible through the smoke. And yes we did use a little bleach just for the effect of the video without having to destroy our tires (college student budget heh)
