I have a friend like you, he owns a Iroc but is doing everything possible to transform it into a T/A. I'll give you the same advice....just buy a T/A!!

The R/A I hood looks pretty good on the TAs, but this R/A II hood looks like total *** on either car. It's way huge, and totally does NOT at all jive with the lines of the car. Can't believe so many here are running that thing... Absolutely hideous...

I personally hate that hood on 3rd gens. doesnt match the lines of the car at all. And makes the front look way too bulky....takes away from the whole flow of the car.

put the hood on. i think it will make the car look even better. and with that shade of blue it will look nice and the front be that boring. but then again its up to you. if i had the money id do it.

Nothing wrong with the RA II hood on a camaro. Looks mean I think.

Leave your car the way it is. That hood doesn't match the body lines of the 3rd gen camaro at all. if you really like it go for it since it is what you like. I just think the overall appearance of a camaro can be enhanced with rims, lowering, mild hood. All of which you have done.

I'm inclined to agree with the general sentiment already expressed - if you're seriously considering buying a ram air hood, you might as well trade the Camaro for a Trans Am.
I feel the hood was designed specially for that particular car, because I've never seen a Camaro of any generation sport a ram air hood that accentuated the natural contours of the car.
Take the picture Sonar_un posted, for example, the car is nice and clean but the curved hood completely throws off the hard angles of the Camaro. Whereas on a Trans Am it flows evenly with the sloping design.
Just my opinion. Doesn't matter, of course, even if you do install a ram air hood on that car you've still got a gorgeous car.
