Anyone tried this "Spot-Free" car wash?

Mr. Clean has the new product out that is suppose to contain a certain formula that is suppose to completey get rid of water spots after you wash your car.

Has anyone tried it yet? If so, does it work? They say it's "GUARANTEED" to work. Your thoughts are welcome.

There was a post on here a little bit ago...They came to the conclusion that for most of us(Ultra crazy perfectionists) it is a POS. But I never tried it.

I acctually LOVE mine...worth the $14 bucks I paid for it. I still wash my car the regular way....I just use it to get a spot free rinse....and it delivers 100% on that claim. Takes time to dry of course...but I can be inside doing other crap other than drying my car. I love it.

the spot free rinse is just a special filter to take the hardness out of the water. you could just go to a plumbing supply shop and get a filter like for an ice maker or even better than that a medical grade filter for purified water and hook that in line with the hose to filter the water.

i use to work at a dialysis center an i used to rinse my truck off with buckets of the ultrapure water used for dialysis. the system was just a series of filters and the an reverse osmosis machine to remove all items in the water. gets it to the pure state. and yes water is blue at that point. di water is kinda the same. Distilled.

exactly, that is what reverse osmosis water is...extremely pure water. thats what we use at the car wash i work at, works like a dream. because its not the water that leaves spots, its the impurities left behind when the water evaporates. we have about 10 huge filters that the water goes through to purify it. and by the time its done, the water in the holding tanks is the nicest shade of blue i have ever seen.

if you like alot of the bottled waters (aquafina..ect.) then you are drinkin the same stuff we use to rinse off cars. bottled water is such a joke. $1.00 for for 20oz. i have 10,000 thousand gallons at my disposal. and i drink it everyday.

yeah i have it. i ordered iot way back when it first came out.It does work, but each filter lasts 3 wahses, and the water takes a while to dry but it is spot free. If you dotn believe me i can always go take pictures of the stuff. I ordered it maybe 6 weeks ago and have used my full 6 washes out of it. I need to go buy new filters. But it does work. Kinda takes the fun outta washing though.....

Shane

P.S. i paid $39.99 for mine!!!!!!!!!!!1

if you wanan know how i know the filter works for only 3 washes, i've een outta filters for a2 weeks, i washed my car and my moms each time and the 4th time i had to rewash and then dry my moms car.

I love washing and drying my car though. That product takes the fun out of washing the car. I hated it after it only worked for 3 washes. But it is still cool. I gave it to my rents fro washing the boat. Works good for that too.

I'm happy with my Zymol wash and California water blade. Works great, and lasts much longer than 3 washes.

yeah man, it is however once its all used up a nice soap dispecer for regular car soap(its not recommended but i do). Then its a nice wash off. For those 3 washes(each cartridge, came with 2) it was awesome. I liked it, but now i like the fact that i spent the time making my car shine.

Also if i wait until it dries i'm no longer in the mood to wax it and stuff. I also use a auto matix waxing soap. Half wax half soap, its made by turtle wax but works very nicely. You know the feel that you get after you wax the car, well you ge tit from this stuff. Its much better and you can also use it in the little thing.
