ROH ZS wheels.....

Does anyone know of a retailer that has some in stock? I called Group A and they have been discontinued by ROH. Group A only has the ZS in 17 x 8.5" left

Last I heard they were, but maybe try a search cuz someone said they weren't. If they are discontinued and you really really want them I'll trade you 2 17x9.5's for the rear for 4 17x8.5's for the rear and I'll pay shipping. I got the 9.5's in the rear but I use these wheels to drift and 8.5's would actually be better. Straight up trade isnt worth my time, but if I get an extra set of rear wheels I'll do it. Sorry if I sound like an A-hole. Lates!

I just got off the phone with a nice lady at JD Wheels. She said that they have been discoed, along with the ZR6, and that Group A would have known about any in the country since they import them. So, if you want ZS's in 17 x9.5"........you're screwed.

As a side note, the lady at JD Wheels went out of her way to help me. Service like that is getting kind of hard to find in the after market parts world. They've earned my business if I decide to go with one of the brands they carry.

I was planning on getting them from the US. I hate getting gouged by Canadian "full list plus 30%" prices on aftermarket stuff. JD Wheels had the 17 x 9.5's for $179 US which is around $245.

Let me know if you're interested in selling them. I have cash

I had posted, not long ago, that the ZS series hadn't been discontinued. This info was from the folks at GroupA. Apparently there's some confusion over there.

On a side note, keep checking eBay. I got a used set (17 x 9.5) with two new BF Goodrich 275/40-17's for ~$400 that had some oxidation on the lips. Add $160 for 2" billet adapters (I bought 4th gen offsets) and $300 for strip & polish and I when I'm done, I've basically got new polished wheels + two tires for <$1000.

eBay is your friend...

PS: CrazyHawaiian - I'm not sure why anyone would want to swap you four wheels for two. I do like your site, however... learned a lot about drifting.

Full set... four wheels. Two wheels w/o tires, two w/ new tires for ~$400. Congrats? Umm... yeah, thanks.

Btw, they're not listed all the time on eBay. This is not a bad thing. When they do get listed, they don't get a lot of hits because ppl aren't diligently looking for them. Be patient and keep looking.

eBay is your friend.

Ohhh, my bad. I understood it as you only got 2 wheels. $400 for a full set of those wheels is a smokin' deal. I've been watching Ebay and will continue to do so. But i'm gonna need to get some wheels sooner or later. I think my next choice is the Snypers.

I'm sorry if saying that makes me sound like a punk. I figgure if someone really wants the 9.5's in 3rd gen fitment then they might go for my offer. Just doing a straight up trade, my two 9.5's for two 8.5's wouldnt really be worth it for me since I live so far away and shipping is so expensive. But if someone was willing to trade four 8.5's for the rear (new or used), I would do it and pay for shipping of all the wheels. No harm in asking right?

Anyway, just thought I'd attach a pic and try to add something usefull to this thread (aside from my shamefull offer hehe).

A quick follow-up... Here's a before and after of one of the wheels. I think it was worth it.

Those look amazing. I'm probably going to have to settle on a set of Snypers.

Paul, let me know, I'm thinking the same thing. I got a price of @ $300 CND from Deals 4 Wheels on Merivale. I need tires as well, and so does Ken. We're getting a kind of group rate on the rubber, maybe on rims as well then. I wanted 17" GTA style, but there isn't much chance of me forking over $2500CND + rubber. Get back to me on that.

Scott, a set of 17x8" and 17x9" Snypers is only $720US shipped. Unless the place on Merivale can get the ZS in a 17x9.5".......

How much are you getting tires for?

I think that they make most of their money off of wheels, not tires. That's their thing I guess. I priced tires pretty much all over, on a set of Goodyear Eagle F1-D3 P245 50 16, I'm getting those, or them in 17's. But the price on the 16's was $246 per installed/balanced. The next best was $270. But for the next month (1) Goodyear is offering an incentive rebate, it works out to $242 per. Then it goes back up to about $280ish. Also, at Deals4Wheels, they offer great prices on Goodyear, Dunlop, and Hercules. (a couple others too I think) Other brands are equel to competetors (Frisby, Osgoode Tire, etc.) Even Kyle can't get me a better price than Deals, at Jack May. I think Mike (Deals) said those same Goodyears in P275 40 17's would run just over $300 per installed/balanced. He also quoted me on BF Comps (or whatever they're called now) in the 16's at @ $195 per.
