Should i black out the side markers?

alright guys, i get my nite shades in on wednesday, i know i'm doing the tail lights, but i also thought about the side markers as well. Would it look good on my totally platinum car?

Within the next month or so i should be getting my windows tinted and the rear hatch tinted as well. Would it matahc a little better like that?

Just go with clear ones. Blacked out ones look tacky on non black cars.

btw: You switch screen names?

I thought about doing that to my 91 since I have blackouts on the taillights; I typically like clear sidemarkers but I didn't want to have blackouts on back and clears on the sides, thought it was kinda awkward. But I can't say that I've seen blacked-out sidemarkers on our cars. Post pics if you do it.

dont do it, your car is silver with black accents, and i think that would just be a really awkward place to put a black accent. The car is really smooth and has a smooth line and a black square right there would attract the eye way too much and disrupt the look of the car, when you put an accent in a big open space of the car colour it stands out very noticibly, and i dont see why youd want your side markers to stand out.

eww thats exactly why not to do it. IMO that looks like such an eye soar. Attracts way too much attention to a portion of the car that you want people to try to ignore, just get clears.

Defintely do it dude. I did mine on the bird and i did them on the rs and i think it looks awesome. Granted they look better on silver than on the teal which is why i'm gettign clears for the rs. it loosk good with teh blackouts and dark tint.

I put niteshade on the side markers and it didn't turn out the best with the dark yellow lense. it turned out fine on the front driving lights though

ummm those are freggin brand new tires man, there was nothing there when i looked, just an opticall illusion, i paid some $260 for two new rear tires, dont tell me they are retreads you ... you.... you..... i wont even say the words.

Those tires are Cooper Zeon 2XS tires they are of similar design on the Yokohama AVS ES100's and Kumho 712's or 711's, i cant remember. But tin tests they lasted longer and they had better traction in dry and wet roads.

Theres nothing wrong with those tires. thats whats left from when they got molded at the factory. some tires end up with it and some dont, depends on the mold and how it was taken out of the mold.
