New pics with zr1's.......

I just finished finally getting my zr1s to clear everything and I thought I'd post some pics. They are 17x9.5's up front, which I had the annoying problem of getting to clear the tierod ends, and 17x11's out back, which suprisingly fit on perfect. The spacers are 1.75" all around, I bought them from a member here and was told they were 2" but I found out this wasn't the case when I measured them. Oh well, any bigger out back and I think the wheels would have stuck out way too far for my taste. Enough talkin, here's the pics:

All I need to do now is align the front end panels, primer them, and change my door bushings. Then its finally time for paint

Thank's for the compliment firebird. It's going to be black. The hood's painted the color its going to be, but badly so I'm going to redo it.

The fronts are 275/40/17 and the rears are 285/40/17.

front looks good, back looks bad. chop those adapters and do what you need to do to at least get the rim itself inside the fender. sticks out way to much.

looks nice -just a couple of things
Spacers??? inch and 3/4??? hmm heard stories...not going autoXing anytime soon I hope? but if they work/ goodluck
Inch and a half adapters/(...spacers)/ on the rear would tuck that rim in nicely. Anyways im more confused why you stuck with 285/40 on the rear??? Any reason you didn't go for the legendary 315/35?

/anyways im just jealous.

im with kandied, they stick out a little to far for my liking. I think chop the spacer , and then hammer out the wheel well to get the tires to fit a little better.

Thanks for the compliments. Chop the adapters (and yeah, I meant adapters earlier, not spacers )? I didn't know that was an option. I figured if I was going to get the rears in further I would need new, smaller adapters. I'm not to worried about it at the moment, but I would like to some time soon. What kind of a place could do the cutting of the adapters? Any machine shop?

I didn't go with the 315's because I don't want to have to roll the fender.

Yeh, I saw those pics when he posted on here. That car is freagin awesome. I got my 285's for cheap, I might go with 315's later when I have more money but I really just needed these rims on after my last blowout. Besides I have a set of 15x9.5's that I'm going to put the biggest slicks possible on for when I ever take it to the track.

even that car could use some adjustment. your adapters may not be able to be cut as you may ruin the integrity. either way though a properly measured adapter and some inner fender massaging and they will fit just fine.

my 295's tuck and i could do it with 315's if i chose too....don't care for that wide though.

good luck with the project!
