Got some pics of my IROC, what do you think?
i like everything except for the exhaust. Those tips dont looks good on any thirgen. I think you should either get something else as in tips or have no visible exhaut. Otherwise the car looks awesome. yeah what do you run in the 1/4 .

That is the only way the exhaust could be fabbed/ran with the ladder bars under there.
I haven't been to the track with this setup, best guess is high 11s.
I try to keep the car 100% stock and similar style-wise. So that means the car stays a thirdgen from the inside and out. If you notice the shifter it fits the style of the car, and I got rid of the radio because it gave it too much of an '80s look and just put in a delete plate. That way I just have stock looking switches, and dashboard guages, nothing extra, nothing fancy. Gives it a hardcore look. If it were a daily driver and not so serious of a car I'd do more customization to it, namely an entire 4th gen interior from dash to door panels but I don't have that kind of car, and I don't have that kind of desire.

The expired license plates are what tipped me off, there is no way someone can ignore the abundant amount of letters the DMV sends you.....

The IAT is connected to the airbox, just a few inches up from the empty sensor you see on the pic.
The shifter is a Hurst Dual Gate 2.

nice lookin IROC man, very impressive. I noticed that people are commenting on the tips. One thing that might look a little better is if you could paint the mufflers with a high temp black...just exposing the color of the tips....the paint would hide the mufflers a bit. Just a thought....looks great man

It's welded to the subframes. It was put in a long time before I owned the car (at least 10 years ago) so I don't know how hard it was to assemble, but It sure looks good now and the interior looks near flawless.

Hi,
First off..that is really one nice IROC! I used to have the same color on mine. I see that under the car it has ladder bars and a 9 inch ford with a anti roll bar.....How hard does it hook, I know the tires are probably limiting things but how hard does it lift the front end? Do you have a site where I can see more pics??
Thanks.

The car hooks incredibly well on the street, better than any other car i have ever driven on the street. However I do give much credit to the Yank SY3500 convertor for keeping the tires planted.

Why take the badge off? It's still 5.7 liter...and it's still Tuned port.
It's not SFI, I have old version of DFI so it's still batch fire.

Custom grill, angle to puch air directly on the tranny cooler and radiator. It also allows me to keep the stock airbox and give a good ram air effect.

I'm probably going to paint my Camaro this winter and I really like that red. Does anyone know what it's called? Also: how would some white stripes look with it?

Car looks real nice man. I also have concerns about those awful mufflers, but otherwise it's perfect.

Ported heads, matched up cam, LT headers, free flow exhaust, free flowing intake. Good tuning, 362RWHP with TC unlocked, 3500 stall, and hooks as good on Nittos as it does on slicks. Good combo I'd think, on a nice Fall day I think high 11s is pretty attainable.

Good looking machine from any angle. Radio delete plate kind of threw me. For an updated look I put a 97 Delco CD player in mine. Pretty easy install and looks factory, even have the little red led security light blinking. Something to think about anyway.
