Will Buick rims work and look good?

I found a set of these http://www.wheelvintiques.com/images...ick-Rallye.jpg

in the basement. Will they fit/look alright on the RS?Im tired of the stock black rims and spending the $$$ on the engine now,so I figured I may polish them up and put them on for a year or so.

My camaro is similar to this one if anyone feels like a photoshop for me. https://www.thirdgen.org/rides/index...ew&rideid=1069

opinions?

Thanks for the photoshop Steve!!:hail:

1986CamaroSC- I dont know anything about them, they were left by a former tenant about 5 yrs ago and I figured Id take them if theyd work. The pic of the 57 series Buick Rallye is dead-on what they look like,so I figure thats what they are! They measure 15 x 10.

camaro-mayhem-I agree.I hate Rallyes too.But Im tired of stock,$$$ is tied up,and these are FREE.Im just going to put them on for a little while until I get the infamous 17 inch snypers.

if you have tires and stuff for them i agree then it would be a nice change. i do things like that just for something to do i dont know if those caps are for buicks too but they can be found im sure.

EDIT: i just realized those caps are frigging expensive.

yup tose rims came off of a 70's riviera (probably not spelt right) my uncle has a 72 buick riviera with those rims and they look nice. if your car it black likr the one u linked to (probably is thats why u linked to it, dur) then the black accents on the rims will look nice

Stick with the stockers till you got the cash. Those don't look cool at all. It would look like you got em from the recycler. Put em on your olds cutty or monte.

If you are wanting to go a bit nostalgic, why not put some 17" chevy rallye's on it. Kinda be the best of both worlds.

I remember a few years ago I tried to mount my dads '72 Buick GS350 wheels on my 89 RS but they wouldnt clear the rear brakes (9 bolt PBR's). They looked the same as those wheels in the photoshop but they were 14's.

if i got those for free, i would feel ripped off...those do NOT belong on a third gen. they dont really even look good on a Big Ugly Import Car Killer. but that is just my opinion, GET R DONE!!

I dont like them that much, mainly because of their small size. I often feel differntly about rim styles if they are offered in 17" or larger size.

I will be putting on 17'' snypers in a year or so.The cash flow is being directed toward the engine/transmission build-up right now.Im just bored with the stock look and I have these available. If I do put these on it will only be for about a year.Ive been iffy on it myself and thats why I asked. Im not feeling nostalgic or anything, its just whats available.

As it is....Im still iffy. I think it makes the car look like a hot wheels or matchbox....like it needs tires with the red line around it!!

oh, i fully understand where you are coming from, but i would just leave the stock wheels on. unless you have freakin steel wheels and Chevy Truck hubcaps, you are better off letting sleeping dogs lie...
