This is gonna be one hot ride

While the car has been in gettign painted i've been working on redoing pretty much all the exterior components, everthing was pretty much faded or looked bad so i went at it.

PAinted everythign gloss black---headlight trim rings, door handles, lock cylinder covers, wiper arms, headlight defusers?, grill, and sprayed a thicker border around the homemade front runnign lights, i also painted all the black on the taillights gloss black and then polished the ambers to a wicked shine( blackouts arent going back on) also made new liscence plate lights seeing as how both mine were broken and you cant get teh right side i believe anymore so i made em clear.

ALl the little stuff

ANd the plate lights, came out nice i like em but teh glue i used to put the plexi onto the housing fogged the plexi, i tried taking dish soap and water in it and scrubbing it with a cuetip wich helped a little i dont want to put and plastic polish it it becasue i think the glue also did somethign to the paint inside casue i scratched that real easy when i was cleaning, but it gives a real nice custom look and looks better than stock for damnn sure, hard to tell in the pice but i painted the boarder gloss black too.

Car is going to be done tues or weds.

What kind of paint did you use? I painted my headlight trim rings with a few coats of gloss black a fewe months ago and they're already chipping apart. May want to powdercoat them in the future or use some kind of sealer or clear.

No i actually just used some meguires show polish and wax tehy weren too bad as tehy've been under the blackouts since i bought it. But the more i look at the blackouts the mor ei think they kinda look cheesy so for now they are going to be lights and no black outs,

I took your advice kandied that front filler piece around the hood latch, i peeled off the msd, fosgat, acce, b+m and so on decals and sprayed it gloss black to match the radiator support i did in black awhile ago, i think it looks liek its gonna be alot more show looking than silver with the decals,

lookin good...your coming around and it's starting to show. blackouts are alright, everyone tries them and eventually grow out of it. a clean stock light is killer.
