spray paint vandalism
while parked in the school parking lot overnight last night, i had someone spray a couple lines of spray paint on my truck along with several other vehicles in the lot. since i'm currently at college, i don't have any of my usual cleaning supplies with me so i thought i'd get some recommendations on what might be best to take the spray paint off my paint and taillights.

Well I suppose this could be generalized to include thirdgens....
I think anything that will take the spray paint off will take all of the paint off... Was it waxed? Depending on the apint underneath, all I can think of is to very lightly buff it or something. Or else you'll just have to paint over it I guess.

paint thinner will destroy alot of plastics, if it was my camaro i would use some polishing compounds you could even wet sand and buff.

ok thanks guys. i'm gonna run up to the car wash after work and see if the pressure washer will take most of it off, which hopefuly will do the trick but will probably go with the clay bar and some 3M plastic polish if necessary, but if anyone has any other good tips, keep them coming.

A clay bar should do the trick nicely on the paint. Not sure about the taillights, though. Maybe plastic polish.
