They look cool, I definately prefer wheels with atleast a little lip on a thirdgen tho.

I am much considering a set for my 4th gen but I am waiting until I hear some personal stories. I hope they didn't rush the production of this wheel. $750 for 4 triple plated wheels seems like low quality to me.

yeah thats what i thought cuz Zr1's go for that much chrome plated.

These rims are for 88-C5 vettes adn 93-97 F bodys they say

check out the specs

"This 2005 Corvette C6 style wheel ready to bolt onto your C5 or older model Corvette.

Specifications:
Front: 17 x 8.5 +58mm offset
Rear: 18 x 9.5 +65mm offset"

too bad they are two different diameters cuz that dont look too good on thirdgens. But with these wheels it may have a chance

Look at the offsets. dont seem like normal Vette/4th gen specs

I wonder what spacers are needed?

Ick. What makes these wheels the new craze other than being from a c6? I am guessing that's all it is, becuase the wheel is, well, blah IMHO.

they are some as ZR1's in my opinion LOL, both have no lip and have 5 spokes. C6 wheels have longer looking spokes and more smoothed out than Zr1's.

dont get me wrong, i love Zr1's and thats probly what i will end up with since Snypers arent made in any sizes wider than 9inch or taller than 18.

I may be wrong (PROBABLY), but I have a feeling that auction might be for just one rim! I looked it over pretty good and I didn't see anything that made me believe the auction was for a full set. I was going to ask, but I am sure they wouldn't answer me. Auction only has 20 hrs left.

Just re-read it. Front..... Rear...... Still not SURE the auction is for set of 4. Sometimes ebayers are snakes who try to snare you into a line of bs. These guys probably aren't tho.

I like it. Only thing is, I like my rims to have some "DISH" to them. I don't really like the look where the edge of the rim is "FLAT". Just my .02.

Are you gonna buy rims or ya gonna spend the money so you can do 12s?

Knowing how slow my L98 is, rims is one of the later things i am going to do.

right now, i polished/redone the front wheels and got to do the rear wheels. Looks real nice with the nice shine!! My motor is next. Gonna get a ZZ4 based motor i think or maybe SDPC TPI vortec motor. LOL

oh and i do like a bit of lip on my rims too, but these C6 wheels look good in my opinion, so do C5 aniversary 5spoke rims.

I think you money is best spent on a different set of rims. They look cool, but not on a 3rd gen. C5's zo6, zr1 even snypers i think are better :lala:
