well we brought the car home early this past week. i wasn't able to get everything done that i wanted to this weekend because i got sick(just my luck).i did manage to get some stuff done today. i got all the silver put on minus the front bumper and most of the interior is back in the car. i still have to paint the pieces for the spoiler, mirrors, and front bumper. heres some decent pics of the two tone. let me know what you think. me personally, i love it. it looks alot better in person

I'm going to be the odd one out here. The orange looks awesome, but I think it would look better one solid color. That two tone theme is too 80's too factory looking for me. I think the two tone should have stayed in the 80's. All of this of course is my opinion. Awesome work though, just not my taste.

I thought the same thing! In the 4th picture, it looks like a 1st gen Camaro nose would be right at home on it. A rectangular nose with some hideaway lights... drool

wow. thanks alot for all the complements. i guess all the hard work paid off.

i wanted to use the factory style paint sceme. i think the two tone really jumps out and catches your eye. the colors go together very well.

there was nothing wrong with the black paint wich i just did two years ago. i always wanted to do a third gen in this color. i had to pull the motor so i figured nows the time to do it. i was going to repaint the doors anyway because of some very small dents here and there. everyone that i new i was repainting the car a different color told me that i was out of my f***ing mind. yes everyone, and everyone that said that couldn't get over how much nicer the car looks. if you were to talk to any of my friends about me and my car they will tell you that i am ETREMELY ****. if there is something that i can see and most other people can't, it will really bother me. they say im a perfectionist but i don't think i am.

 

All I see is a bunch of box's with a red x in them.

Looking good, I see SOM becoming a popular color for thirdgens now, I dont think I can ever see enough SOM thirdgens, let alone cars painted that color.
