Idea for the Z28 rims...

I have the Z28 rims on my camaro, and for a long time they have been dirty and need restoring or polishing, or something. I want new wheel but no money for that. So I began to think, could restore them but still a little to common, Polish them but that is getting kind of common and the maintaince is to much almost for a DD. So talking to a firend, the idea of a Z28 rim with paint spokes and polished lip came about. I Photochopped it and where it is.

Was thinking of also leaving the center cap unpainted, not sure, haven't photochopped it yet. Also thought about white.

Let me know what ya'll think about it. Opened for suggestions.

I already have Z28s, so why buy any?

The photochop is me making them black.

Yea i know in the end it is my car and should make me happy. I just want something different, not sure what.

Any suggestions on perhaps what to do, or any other comments?

I had a buddie that did this to a set of 96 viper rims they looked great but thats just an idea that i don't recall seeing yet

P.S. i'm shure someone has done it so no need to hijack the thread and post pics of them

Cool, this could actually help me with a restroing project I am working on to. Thanks.

The chrome is kind of expensive, I thought of that already.

those black Z28s look good there.

agh.... make to where I started.

Well I could always paint them, and if I don't like it, remove the paint and polish with zoop seal.

I almost did that same exact thing to my Z28 wheels, but decided to polish them instead. It would look great on a black car.
