Zaino?????

I have heard that this is the best wax, and especially good for a red car. Does nayone have any good experiences with this that they can share with me? I wax my car like twice a week when the weather is good and I love doing it. Does it go on easy and come off easy? Is it a paste or lotion? Where can I buy it? how much?
And anything else you guys think you need to add.
Thanks alot guys

Zaino gives an awesome shine and it is VERY easy to apply and remove. Follow the directions and use sparingly and you will be amazed. I highly recommend it.

You can get it from www.zainobros.com or http://home.bluemarble.net/~dlharden/glossboss.htm if you want to use credit card.

Here is a picture of my old RS using Zaino.

I cannot recommend Zaino enough to people. As Chuck said it goes an and comes off very easy. Also since you sound like a person who enjoys detailing his car, the more layers of Zaino you put on the more spectacular it gets.

The white cars I have seen done look good. Obviously you can not add depth to the color of white like other colors but it does add a sheen or glisten to white paint.

There is soo many choices. Which ones would you guys recommend using?
Hey Chuck,
Nice car man. Is that torn apart red camaro with the chrome IROC's yours too? What size are the wheels? Other than mine, I have only seen like 2 or 3 other cars with those wheels.
Thanks for the replies

What you mean "tore up red car"?

Yes the red IROC convertible with the chrome wheels is mine.

As far as the Zaino I would get the following.

Z1 This is the lock that you use the first time you polish the car and then one a year after that.

Z2 is the actual polish. If you have the cash get two bottles, you will want to polish everything in town

Z6 Gloss Enhancer is also good. Use this stuff like it was $200 per ounce. Many people use too much of this and it tends to smear.

The car wash is good but not needed. Z7

Perfect Tire Gloss Z16 is also very good stuff if you are looking for the factory look for your rubber and trim. It is not shinny like many of the other products designed to do this type of work.

The cotton applicator is not needed but sometimes Sal sends one for free with your order.

It is very important that you follow the instructions to the "T" for best results. Sal has a "Tip and Tricks" link on www.zainobros.com that will help. Use only 100% cotton towels and your applicator should be 100% cotton also. Make sure it is USA 100% cotton, some countries say that they are all cotton but they are really not. Also wash your car with Dawn dish soap before starting with Zaino. This will remove all existing wax and oil from your car.

If you have a slight rough finish to your paint you may want to use a clay bar to clean the paint after you wash it. Zaino has a clay bar but so do many other manufactures. This will pull out a lot of the contaminants that are embedded in your paint.

Sounds like a lot of work but once the prep is done the actual polishing is very easy. If you want to get real **** you can improve the look a little more by removing the polish in certain directions. The top surfaces of the car should be removed with you towel in a forward to rear type of motion. The sides of the car should be removed in an up and down motion. I know this sounds stupid but if you are going for the ultimate look you might as well do it right.

yeah what Chuck said.

Make sure you follow Sal's instructions. I don't want to make it sound like you'll ruin your paint or anything, deviating will not cause any damage and may still end up looking good. But following them to the T will make it turn out unbelievable.

The first time seems like alot of work but I can get my car looking close to show ready - atleast paint wise - in 15-20 minutes. This is on a black car that has no swirls or spiderwebing at all in the paint.

If you have a leather interior his leather products are top of the line aswell. Makes them soft as butter and brings back that new leather smell.

I liked everything but the clay bar, I could not notice a single bit of dirrerence with the part i did with it...I didn't do the whole car cause I didn't like the way it felt or sounded on my paint...probably just paranoid, but i didn't notice any difference anyway so why take the chance

Another huge benefit to using Zaino is that it lasts a LONG time, contains no carnuba wax (which will either wash or melt off your car in short order)and provides UV protection that really works.

Man, if you seriously do that, then you need Zaino. It gets better and better with each application. Try it and you'll see what I mean

And also if you seriously think about it & do the math it is cheaper in the long run to use Zaino when detailing your car than it is to go out and keep buying all the waxes & sprays & crap.

I would definately recommend Zaino. It's an awesome car polish and it does WONDERS for red paint. I like detailing my car just as much as you do, too lol Hell, I'll take a day off work on Saturday, wake up about 7 in the morning, start on my car and finish late afternoon/early evening. So... I would recommend it. I used to know a guy that had a Viper he used to show... Never used anything else BUT Zaino on his car. It's a great polish.

Black is one of the best colors for Zaino. The darker the color the deeper Zaino makes it look.
