Actually if I am correct the only year that the F-body did not come w/ t-tops (recently) was 1993, the year of the 4th gen. I think that they did not have T-tops or a convertible option at all for that year. Can anyone second that one for me or am I wrong? I know that I am right about the convertible.

Yes, you are right about no convertable in '93, but you are wrong about no T-tops. My friend had a '93 w/ T-tops.

Mike, 93 almost went by being T-top less, but at the very end of the build year they did start making them. Out of some 40,000 camaros, they squeezed out like 3340 of them with T-tops.

Yep, the earliest I know them to have t-tops would be 1980. Every thirdgen and fourthgen year Camaro has had them available

Are you saying that the T-top came available at the very end of 93 production? If that's the case, then where did the '93 Pace Car get 'em? Ttops were available throughout 93.

No they weren't. I bought my IROC-Z from my best friend in June of 1992. He was wanted to be one of the first people to own a 93, and he was in my city. He wanted t-tops, and they didnt offer them at that time. It wasnt till the end of the year that they did offer them. 15 months later, he sold the car to get a 95 Z28 with T-tops, since he couldnt get them in beginning of 93. Look at the facts:

1993 - 3340 of 39103 had t-tops.
1994 - 42,622 of 112,539

You do the numbers. If they were available throughout, that percentage should be at least 40-50%, not 8%.

I think they discontinued t-tops in the 1991-1992 z28 5.7 TPI. You could get them added (a dealer option), my friend has a 1992 Z28 350TPI and The original owner told him that a customizing place called Roman Chariot did the t-tops as a dealer installed option for the 350TPI. My 1984 has Roman Chariots T-tops that I paid $1900.00 to have installed and they are the same as his.
