Cleaning the running lights...

See, not so pretty. What can I do to shine them up. They aren't fogged, just funky on the outside and got some overspray on them.

What guide above?

I was wanting to avoid the cost of replacing til I can see if I can clean them. I've found some good looking ones on the internet. I may have to replace them, just wanted to see if I could clean them.
Thanks guys

That's what I am saying. Those kick ****.

Hehehe, I bought some 1500 and 2000 grit sand paper today. I'll try that before I get new ones. I know, I know, but I am saving for a LT1 and T56...lol.

Know who you got them from? I would like to get some like that if I can if the sanding and buffing doesn't get me close to what I want. Thanks.

Ok. I remember them. I've looked at their stuff before.

a mack6, Thanks. I appreciate it. I was worried 3rd Gen people wouldn't like the SS/Z28 combo.

Favorite shot (exlcuding the outside)
Hehehe.

Those look sweet. I cleaned mine up some with the 2000 grit sandpaper and some scratch remover. They look better, but not good enough. I am going to order some new ones once my clear side markers make it in. I plan on getting some fog lights too. I'll post a pic once I get everything looking better.

On a side note, I took out my head lights today. Wet sanded them (they were new, just dirty) and repainted the bezels/mount things. Looks a ton better. Look at the pic and you can tell what I mean. They were like three different colors.

I don't want to mess with my taillights. I need to fix one little spot on the driver's side, I don't want to mess with it. I might mess it up and/or make it worse. I'll do something sometime, just not now.

As for shiney, my black is awesome. However, my car isn't clear coated and the white really needs a wet sanding and a buff. I plan on wet sanding, clearing it and then buffing the whole car this spring.

BTW, Steve, you have any more pictures of your car? I would love to see some. Thnx.

I've been meaning to get the power ball.
I got my clears in today. Hope to have them in once the rain goes away.
What headlights you guys use? I have some Sylvania Silverstars. I love them.
