Actualy I really wanted a more subtle stock look. Here is the same size and shape lettering with the inside of the 4 and the lines through it all what do you guys think of this?

Sorry, u didn't say that at first!
The latest looks much better, but the bottom leg of the 4 doesn't match the the top of it in width. Make the top part wider to match the bottom.

Sorry maybe I should have mentiond that however I am always open to different ideas The 4 seems really hard to work with I originally was thinking of using the 4 from a cavalier or lumina Z24 or Z34 emblems but I did not like them. I ended up deciding on the chevy 4X4 4 but I did not like the bulls eye striping through it so I put the lines through it but with the lines it kinda makes the middle of the 4 look out of place.

To make the 4 proportionate to the Zs.Use the Z as a template, then modify it into a 4.This will make it the proper size.Use the horizonal sections/lines as guides & incorpaorate them int o the 4.Keep them at the same height/level as they are on the Zs.Look at an original Z28/RS/IROC emblem & you can see how the lines/gaps are all even & level with one another.Thats how i re-did mine.

You can trace an original emblem. You dont have to be an artist. Also if you look at the Z in Z28 I see part of the 4.With a little work you can complete it.Heres a pic of the drawing you made. The circled part & the yellow line represent the 4.You'll have to re-position the gaps so they're aligned with one another.
