I believe there are other general interest threads as well. People have tried... it never works out.

It's the same story as replacement parts. Companies don't see enough interest or don't think there is enough interest in the market right now to warrant the R&D and production of the items.
Probably everyone here would buy one for sure, but outside of TGO no one knows.

I bought my 1:18 82 Camaro for 9.99 at KB toys years ago. Very nice diecast but obviously it was so cheap because it (and a dozen others) had sat therer a very long time. I'm thinkin it wouldn't be much different with the 91-92 models.

i'd buy a 1991/2 die cast model if it was a convertible. it'd be nice of them to make a convertible AND a hardtop/t top to make everyone happy

... if a '91 - '92 Z28 was made, I'd have models with each color offered.

Im glad to see people are replying however the veiws are in the 200s and the replys are not even close the only way to make a difference is if everyone trys
and to the people that replyed
I was kinda thinking maybe if we get enuf replys some company would be willing to produce a limited run just for the people of thirdgen.org using an old mold modded to look like the later thirdgens I also know models were produced in the past of both irocs and 91-92 Z-28s so if the molds were not destroyed maybe they could dig em out for a limited run. I belive someone also had a diecast 91-92 Z-28 but I had never heard of the company and Ive only ever seen one.
