i took the whole intake off and took it apart and glass beeded everything then sprayed it with clear. for the valve covers, i used duplicolor aluminum engine paint and then sprayed gloss engine paint clear over it, and they are almost exactly the same color as orignally. for the plenum, i used eastwoods ti-coat high temp paint and then sprayed it with high temp satin finsh clear. the throttle body i sparyed with eastwoods alumi-blast and sprayed it with the same satin clear coat. the runners i just glass beeded and sparyed with clear like the intake. i tried very hard to find stuff that made it look orignal and stock. it takes some time to do all of this, but it is well worth it if you really want you engine to look good.
