Car almost finished, here are some teaser pics.
I put my car in the body shop Febuary 6th and it should be done this Monday(March 26th). It has been awhile and I want my damn car. Everytime I went there I forgot a camera but my painter took a couple pics on his phone and sent them to me. Sooo, here are some pics but the product isnt complete yet, once I get it and put the wheels on, and a new hood emblem when it comes in I will post more pics, but for now, here are some tease pics.
First one getting primered and sanded down
Second one getting a sealer
Third one got some paint

Nice...is there some way you can not put that front license plate back on the car or at the least not on the bumper like it is in your sig.?

Ya, they guy before me actually did that. I took it off and told the guys to fill the holes and I actually bought the mounting bracket for the camaro grill. Ithink I will leave it in the window tough, so you can see the camaro grill until I get warned or sumthing, I might put it in......but ya, it wont be on my bumper like that.

Looks great, definitely something different! I love the black cowl and the color in general.

Do what I did with the plate. Go to AutoZone, buy the mounting kit for like $3, and mount it to your air dam. Bend the bottom of the plate back and around the air dam, and you're set. MUCH cleaner looking and you can see it from the front of the car from a few feet away.

rwdtech - I like it off for a all the time deal....I have the stock mounting bracket to where you have to drill into the camaro grill at three points but I dont wanna drill into it yet. Then, to take it off I would have to take the grill out and then the bracket which would be too much of a pain in the *** to me, and thank you very much.
firebirdjosh - Ya, I wanted somthing I have never seen before. I drew up about 5 pics of dif things and that stood out to me. I figured if I painted the light surronds and put a SS stripe around the black on the cowl that it would all blend in with also the camaro grill. I am very happy with the outcome.
pairtoe87 - Ya, I will post a before pic and after when its done. That pic in my avy isnt what it looked like everyday. That has some oil on it to make it shine haha.
Slepewesel - My luck, it would rip off, my air damn is always scraping ****. I think I would actually fill safer with it in my window. You never know though.Got a pic of what it looks like?
Camaroguy18 - Thanks man, it is actually the original paint code of the car, I love the maroon and wanted the same, it likes like a totaly dif color from the old faded original, I love it.
92 RS(real slow) - Thanks

Ask and ye shall receive. Have to be honest, I did JB Weld the nuts to the back side of the air dam. Cant see it unless you crawl under there, and really, I like the looks of the plate down there. Mine scrapes every now and then, I just go slow up steep hills, like parking garages, and annoy the people behind me. Nevermind the mess, it's getting a new interior at the moment ...

To each his own, right? Here in Ohio, we dont have the expiration date on the front plate, only on the back so it isnt such an issue.
