yes the exterior looks pretty good. i personally don't like the interior or the over done engine bay, but all together just like it says a show car.

I don't like the engine bay, looks like someone went crazy with a can of spray paint- except it cost a whole lot more. I also don't like the ghost pinstripes, but other than that it looks nice.

I personally don't like the pedals. I don't mind the interior so much. Exteriors pretty nice and he may have went a little overboard on the engine but then again maybe he shows it. I think it's well worth the $2,550 it's at right now but didnt meet the reserve yet!!!

the interior is nice. Minus the pedals, the old meters (speedometer, etc) <<they dont really fit well with the nice interior.

Re: spiffy looking ebay camaro, check it out

Don't like those red rim covers on the inside of those rims. Don't like the rim choice either, maybe it's the inner covers throwing them off. Someone had a field day with that engine bay. Not tastefully done, most of the painted pieces would look tons better in chrome instead of that candy. What is with the zebra lines everywhere?

Re: spiffy looking ebay camaro, check it out

CamarosRus... ok i didnt mean a concours show car. Nor did i mean a world of wheels show car. I meant maybe he likes bringing it to local car shows. Who knows the engine could be cool where he lives. I personally dont like it but I know a lot of people that would. When i commented it was just over $2,500, i agree it isn't worth 8k. But come on cut the guy some slack.

Re: spiffy looking ebay camaro, check it out

dont cut the guy slack, he went out of his way to make his car for "show" that means some will like it and the rest of us will say what we dont like. i think the color selection of paint looks great! cant see the finish of it but it appears to be done pretty well. interior is a little.....it speaks for itself. the engine is just way over done.

That was the first thing i noticed. Nice rotors and painted calipers would look 1000 times better than that cheap ****. Also dont like the ghost pin stripes. For it being a "custom camaro" on ebay though its above the norm lmao

Re: spiffy looking ebay camaro, check it out

right irockid86 i totally agree and i dont even like the car i'm not even defending it,i'm just saying maybe where he lives thats cool. Hence "cut him some slack." I know it's not a show car and i know 90% of the guys on this board (myself including) are going to **** on it. I know if he pulled up to my neck of the woods he'd get laughed at. I'm just saying maybe where he is it's cool. And i mean come on this isn't even the worse thing done to a 3rd gen. I've seen 22's on a bird for Christ's sake. and on the opposite end i've seen hillbillies drive these cars until theres nothing left ofthem. Are either of these my taste? Hell No! But the car (as far as I can tell) isn't rotted out and the guy either payed someone a lot of money or put a lot of hard work into it. Not to mention someone obviously likes it if it's at 8 grand!

Re: spiffy looking ebay camaro, check it out

This is a perfect illustration of why you should not expect to get your investment back when you sell your car- one man's meat is another man's poison!
Build your car for YOU and be grateful if someone wants to buy it at all if you ever want to sell it...

Re: spiffy looking ebay camaro, check it out

I'd buy the car if I had the money. Seriously. First thing I'd do after getting it home would be gut the engine bay and donate / sell the mechanicals, tranny, rearend and then take my cars mechanicals, tranny, rearend and put that in

Like
- Exterior paint
Dislike
- Those red brake covers
- The engine bay. WAAYYYYY to many themes going on here. A good show car's engine bay centers around 2 (maybe 3 max) themes or colours. And even these need to be well balanced. Looks like some kid went nuts with Black, Chrome, Candy Red, Silver (on the braiding), and Purple (in front of the engine). YUCH!!!
- The white seats, door panels & pulls, and floormats. What the heck does white have to do with the rest of the cars's theme? Again, yet another seamingly random meaningless colour.
Oh yeah, this thing's a rainbow.

Each individual part looks well done, but there's a real problem of bringing it all together, in my opinion.

Re: spiffy looking ebay camaro, check it out

Well the rims are really bad. The paint job could be a lot better if it was a different colors. But other than that it is a clean car and he did it how he wanted it soo.
