Experince with POR-15?

I was just curious if anyone else has any experince with the indestructable rust convertor paint called POR-15? I just used some on my car when I recently and it does seem to be pretty tough.

Great stuff. I have used it in my restorations for a number of years.

kewl, glad to hear it really works. I'm thinking about painting the whole underbody with POR-15 if I can figure out a convient way to get it off the ground. Sharky may not turn into a high velocity rust bucket after all.

Be careful not to drip any onto your face, it wouldn't be pretty walking around for a week or so all painted up

Lifts at military bases, hmm. . . I've heard of those.

I'm an Ammo Dog (55B) in the Army Reserves, I wonder if I went up to Ft. McCoy if they would let me use one for a day. There's gotta be a base closer than that though.
You might get a kick out my military paint job RARE-ROC-Z. I'll think about visiting a base some weekend in the undefined future.

I second the stuff works great. I did my underbody with.

One tip make sure you put a piece of plastic between the lid and the can when closing the can up. Otherwise if there is any residue in the lip of the can you'll never get the lid off again.

I've used it on quite a few different parts of the car including the underside and have had real good luck with it.
