At least the it looks like the paint is just peeling instead of the rust spots that I usually see on them in place of the peel marks

91 but it has the old spoiler and rims? Unless I'm mistaken... maybe I'm confused. And yes, those are common. Thirdgens went down hill cause of Van Duays or whatever that place was called.

Actually, a car like that is just what i'm looking for. Everything up here in michigan is loaded with cancer for twice the price.

Are you kidding? Most third gens are junk. After all, they are getting old. Think about being in 1990 and you see a 1975 Camaro for sale.... put it in perspective?

I've seen worse. Yesterday I was drivin around and I saw a Sport Coupe in terrible condition. Te car was originally grey, but you could see primer all over the place. Both front fenders were dented to hell, the hatch was held down with a rope and when he'd hit a bump it'd pop up a little and it sounded horrible. I hate when I see thirdgen's in that kind of condition.

"most third gens are junk"?..your not a mustang owner are u? Third gens can become junk, if not looked after properly and i highly doubt the van nuys plant is to blame for a third gen lookin rough because a retarted owner didnt look after their car properly.

I see busted a$$ thirdgens all the time around here. Im used to it actually. Our cars are still new enough where even the worst maintained ones are still on the road. The good thing is, parts are easy to find in the junkyards when they finally make it there.

Remember this is a Thirdgen site and we are here to help fellow thirdgenners not run our cars down.

There are a lot of beat cars out there. How do you think the Forthgens or even Mustangs are going to look when they are 20 years old. The F-Body is a sports car and they do get abused, some are cared for and some are not.
