Ok so I'm REALLY angry right now.. I took my car to get tinted and i told him to remove the rest of the tint at the top of the window where those lines are on the window cuz i couldnt get it off and retint the whole window.. I get there and they left half the tint on top of those lines there and didnt retint, they didnt retint that 1" strip on each side of the rear defrost, they dripped **** all over the side panels in the interior and got **** all over my paint, they basically ripped off 1/3 of the rear defrost peice on the drvier side off and its hanging, they didnt even vacuum the car out and left tint spread out all over the backseat and hatch, and they also dripped **** all over my new 500$ amp and now it has permanant spots all over it, and he tells me that your not supposed to tint the top and sides and i said well it looks stupid so tomorrow im going back to get my money back cuz this is bullsh*t! and worst of all they charged me 138$ just for the rear window.. If anyone has pictures of their thirdgen tinted with pics close up to the rear window i wanna show them how its SUPPOSED to be done.. thanks

here is my tint. probably not what you were lookin for, but sharing an idea. these windows are just "my style" i guess. besides, the cops cant harass me cuz they cant measure it when its like that

 

on the bottom left corner the 2 small pics of the rear window are pretty good, do you have larger versions you can email me possibly?

 

If they need pictures, they are stupid. Go back and dont settle for anything less than a refund and/or correction on the installation. Not to mention the mess up on the defrost. If they dont make you happy, you can go around with a sign saying that they gave you that messed up tint job.

I dont have photos but you can print this out and show them....

They didn't ask for pictures, I just want to show them how the hell its supposed to be done not like they did it.. but they are still stupid either way so.

I cant believe they charged you that much for a crappy job. I had a z28 tinted on all three windows for only $120, lifetime. The job is superb! The back window is only one piece.

$125.00 for 3 windows. Less than 1 hours time to do. 5% limo black in the back and 15% black(legal in ILL.) on the sides. And tell them no drips and the rear defrost still works. I hate Sh**ty work also. If you want to get paid for a service then do the service RIGHT!

Almost all of them are going to do dripping water. It's common, like Jza said, it's only soapy water. If it's on your amp, wash it off, or polish it off. It's not a big deal. As for the rest of the stuff, try to get the refund or corrected. And 138 for the back only? I got all of mine done for 125.. That sucks

Yeah I pretty much got ripped off, I went back yestarday and I complained but the tinter wasnt there so the guy that was there said it looked like **** himself, and tried to clean the amp off, but like I told him it wont come off.. I had 2 towels sitting right there in the hatch as well i shoulda put them over the amp but how the hell was i supposed to know a professional tint shop was gonna do something that stupid? Im gonna just go back again tomorrow cuz the guy is there and get my money back, I don't even want it fixed beacuse im not leaving my car with that ******* again so ill find another tint place to do it right, and this time ill SPEFICIALLY say how it should be done, and if he says he can't do it then ill find someone else until they say they can..

BTW JZA that tint looks really nice.. and thats what the guy that was there at the time told me it was just soapy water, but that still doesnt mean he should leave it all over the sides of the interior and the car.. as well as leave all the peices of tint sprawled out all over the backseat.. If i go to get my car painted do they leave the masking all over? no they clean up what they did.. so this guy obviously didnt care what kind of job he did.. thanks all

i had my rear window tinted for 65$
