I cant say personally that i like it, looks out of place. Maybe if it was a tad smaller it would fit on there better.

Yeah...I think they're on upside down. There's a black one I've seen on here that has them too. I like the idea. Espeically if you're trying to tie in the Generations.

I always wondered what happened to him and his car. Last time I knew someone tried to torch it (rag in the fill neck). That was years ago.

If I owned that car and someone tried to torch it, I would put a rag in THERE fill neck (throat) and torch them.
I "kinda" agree that it is a bit busy with the SS hood. I love the fenders. Something I would experiment with is putting a 4" or 5" OE style spoiler (RS) even though it is a Z, it's a very modified Z anyways. Those vents would probably only work best on black cars though, as do most concepts, thats why I have a black one.

I really love Sickness's car but I think I like how FLYNlow put the vent on, how the side of the vent follows the door jamb. looks like it fits a little better

Re: 2nd gen quarter panel vents
I talked to Sickness about his vents. There is a slight gap at the top of the vent. It does not sit flat to the fender as there is a reinforcement bar you need to modify.
If you want a vents why not use a TA fender which has a vents at the bottom of the fender. Have a look at redraif's car. She smoothed out the vents.

OR.....
Insert Buick side vents on a cowl hood........

Re: 2nd gen quarter panel vents
yeah, that's my car, I installed those along time ago...
When I repaint the car again, I'm going to go back to the stock fender....
My original idea was to make them flush with the rest of the fender, but they are made of aluminum...and the fenders are made of steel..so I couldn't weld them together. They still came out great....just not seamless like I wanted.

Just remember that I still want to buy your fenders when you decide to go back to stock. As you're only 8 hours away it should be a nice drive.

3 tanks of gas (round trip) is cheaper than the shipping charge
