I agree with Klay...
They should outlaw the teal paint!
That way, those of us with pristine teal paint jobs could get a higher market value for the car.
Just think of how much the value would go up on our cars.
Ok, it might not be THAT much, but it would make it a rare color.
Considering if they would not make it anymore.
For the others out there....
Please don't get me wrong.
I've seen simply beautiful cars that were not Teal in color. Both in person and here on the boards, but it's a ownership thing.
I might be wrong here but....
When we got our car painted, i think the paint guy said there was two pints of pearl mixed in the 1 gallon of teal paint. The large amount of pearl is what gives the teal that "MYSTIC" appearance under various different light conditions.
Look at the pictures that he put up here and you can see how it changes from teal to blue.
You can see it in my sig photo as well. Look at the pass side vs the drivers side.
There are other great colors out there, but I'm proud of mine.

yeah those 15s are soooo ugly and ruin the car but once you change the wheels it does so much for the car. Does anyone know anyone who wants to buy a set of those 91-92 z28/rs v8 wheels

Yes, I don't care for the teal color at all. Its ok but its on basically ever car. I think it looks tacky, but as it has been said before, to each his own.

Looks good to me. I am no big teal fan, but everyone has their favorite color so go for it.
My question is about the headlite covers. Are they screwed in or velcro? Can you leave them on(I know it's not legal)at nite yet still see the road or do you drive with the fogs on? Would the clear work better at nite but not give me the blackout look? I am really torn on this issue and since you have them you can give me some expert advice. Nice car.
