German Trans Am kit

Does anyone remember that blue Trans Am (I think it was from Germany) that had that weird body kit on it? It wasn't the K-1 or Predator. Someone posted a pic of it a long time ago. I've searched all over for it, but can't find it anywhere. If anyone remembers it and knows what I'm talking about, would you mind linking to it?

I don't know if I've seen a blue one, but there is always the EVOLUZIONE, which is made in SLOVAK REPUBLIC, Europe. it uses the 82-92 body style, but i don't think I'd use a trans am or iroc for it, I would just use a base model for this kit.

**opps, sorry, i forgot that K-1 makes the evoluzione. my bad, oh well we can all look at the pretty pictures. also, that blue camaro kit looks bad, just bad imo.

My *** this is getting beaten to death. We should post a picture of that car right below the "Do 4th gen seats fit in my car" banner that belongs on the top of the page.

It's not the Evoluzione or that other one. I don't even think they make it over here. It's actually kind of weird-looking and I wouldn't put it on my car, but I would like to see it again just for the hell of it.

No, it wasn't either of those. Is that bottom one really an F-body though?

yeah, but the company is out of business. It was Exotic Enterprises International out of New Jersey. The entire kit in 1996 was $3100 if you did the labor yourself.

ok, I just have one question. WHY IS EVERYONE AGAINST THE K-1??? What, just becuase someone had the ***** to try something really different with an F-body?! That silver one has got to be the best looking K-1 kit Ive seen so far. Now I could understand being mad if someone did that to a perfectly good F-body, but we all know how many beater cars there are out there that are just looking for a new home. that seems like a perfect choice for some of them, completely different and completely cool. If you dont like it, thats your opinion, we dont all have to know it!

I think people are against it mainly because most of us are against radical appearance mods in general. Most of us wonder why somebody would buy the f-body in the first place if they don't like how it looked. Most of us are also performance-oriented, and tacking on an extra 500 pounds for no reason seems stupid to us. I admit that I LOVE how that car looks. I think it's dead sexy, but I'd never think of raping my IROC's identity with that kit. If I built it from the beginning as a kit car on a bare chassis, and kept that mindset, then I wouldn't have a problem. But to tack that crap onto a perfectly good IROC or Trans Am just seems like a waste. But that's just me.

Damn this is an old-*** thread Yeah, german, if you could send me that link I'd appreciate it. I'm glad someone remembers that car. That thing is so out there that its worth keeping as a picture. I just hope this thread doesn't turn into another flame war where people start calling eachother "rice".

PEOPLEEEEEEEEEEE!!!
I love the K1 kit!
We are planning to visit the company , which is not far from our HQ in Germany to Slovakai!

The kit i was talking about is a dad &son company which has nothing to do with K1!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

K1 did something, Fiero guys had been dóing for years:
grab US tech and but a exotic body over it!

I am not one of those "Kabul Members" who flame someone for taste!

The problem with kits in my opinion is:

They never seem to fit!
Never really complete1
The buyer eats the headace of performing the rest of the brain work the company should have done when selling it!

But in countries like mine its sometime cheaper to get a kit than to fix the car with GM parts!
Or how is a fender for a 3 gen for 400$ , now i guess the rest of the haters in here get silent looking at a fender price that high!

Those K1 owners are a diff kind but still fbody pals to us!

Now greetings to all of ya!
Nice holidays and dont forget ya gals!!!cars don´t always love ...lol!
More peace in the world!

Catch that fu.. er Bin laden!

Jim, I will tell you why people would buy a Thirdgen even if they can't stand the way they look. Me for one...
#1: T-tops, very few cars have t-tops.
#2: Power, American V-8, easy to make fast
#3: Cheap, You can pick up a 85-86 TA or IROC in descent shape for a little over a grand!
#4: They can be made to look good for not that expensive.

That is just my opinion, but there ya go

Yeah, those retards have been doing that for years. Because of them, all kit cars like my Shelby Cobra replica get sort of a bad name undeservedly. I call the Cobra a replica because when I said kit a couple times, people just looked at me weird.

BTW, the only difference is that a replica is built by the company (Lone Star Classics in my case), whereas a kit is where the company delivers everything to you and you build it (this is me). This is the difference according to the specialty insurance companies that you have to deal with to get insurance on those cars.)

By the way, I am not in any way pimping Lone Star Classics. The guys that build the cars are great over there but the owner is such a rude (after I paid for the car completely, he was absolutely horrible to me), dishonest (while my car was up at their shop after the paint job, this ***** owner sold the wheels and tires off my car that I had paid for completely months before!!!!) DICK that I would not ever recommend LS Classics to anyone.

Speaking of the K-1 kits, did you all see the Evoluzione II kit?

Oh, and german - I'd appreciate it if you could shoot that link my way as well.

Thanks,

Ken

They coulda done better w/ the Evo II. I like the wing, but the tail lights aren't the biggest improvement. The original wing I like better, actually. The swing up doors are pretty cool, though, but a 1000 dollar option... The roof vents don't look so cool, though... but a pain with t-tops.

This is the company some of you looked for! I hope it is!

Website is:www.otp-vondracek.de

The son is promoting this site on german boards!
To make it short , members on the german carhop board reported so bad that the whole thing turned into a hot potato!

He writes that the website was put online without there notice and so on....BLA! BLA!
He also states that 3.gen (92`Models )get neves at speeds of 160Km/H
...and that using there Kit the G Force data is better too!

Ouch they never heart of the B-Lake attempt of the red Twin Turbo Team le fervre !
I but his answer in here so some of you you that can read german , wanna have a taste!

M.f.G. Jaro!

Interesting kit, however I find the K1 as a much better looking kit. This kit looks like some sort of 70/80 hybrid Corvette, which I personally am trying to get away from anything 80s w/ my Thirdgen.
Course, I am slightly bias...

I am curious about this why someone cannot say in my opinion when talking about a body kit in a bad way? How would they have any legal recourse? I think since he is in the US ARMY over there he is still protect by our First Ammendment being he probably posted on a military base which is officially, I think, American soil.
