Hey i like your idea, it would be original. and look pretty intemdating.
you see cowl hoods on thirdgens everywhere you go.

Only thing that comes to mind is a shaker hood like some of the second gen TAs. That is a really nice car though so regardless of what you do it will be awesome. I take it you don't want to go with a sleeper look.

Anyhow, you should get a Trans/Am hood, and cut a hole in it, then put a forward or rear facing shaker scoop in the hole. I guess you'd have to extend the hole to accomodate for the blower drive too...might as well get a cover for the drive and paint it body color. I think that'd look cool anyhow.

I do think your shaker hood would be your best bet. Either that or a 78-79 or 80-81 style Z-28 scoop. Personally Id find one from an 81 it looks better and its actually functional if you hood up the solenoid and what not.

I like the one above your sig picture. That along with a stock hood with the blower profile cut out of it would be awesome!!! BTW, the blower pully sticky out through the hood would look bad *** !

a shaker type hood moded too use that shot gun scoop would be tight.
