Can someone tell me what the stock ground to fender height is? I just picked up and put in some cheap lowering springs and would like to see how big the difference is.
Thanks

Would you know the offsets by any chance? Also, what size tires are you running?
I'm thinking about getting a set of classics!

Re: Slammed Third Gens - Post Pics

I think I'm finally happy with the ride Height. Now I have to play the spacer game to get it flush. I also have to try and find a solution to prevent my a-arms from bottoming out on the k-member and the axle tube from bottoming out on the inner fender. And that's happening without bumpstops, I've got about .75"-1" of clearance. At the same time I have to prevent the dampers from bottoming out, in other words I need more strut/shock travel. Currently I'm trying to find a shorter strut/shock solution but I'm not coming up with many options. I'm finding that it's a lot more difficult to slam a 3rd gen F-Body than my GTI was.

Re: Slammed Third Gens - Post Pics
Mine was pretty low up front, had some air in the helper bags so the back was up a little higher than normal.

I scraped the Spohn K member on pretty much every bump and drug my exhaust everywhere. Finally raised it back up a little last fall.

Re: Slammed Third Gens - Post Pics
I've never heard of "dropped shocks." care to expand a little on that subject?
And yes, I do have adjustable struts but they shitty KYB's. They are a little overwhelmed by the 800/200lb springs I have now.

Drop shocks for dropped trucks, nitro shocks i think was a name of a brand. My old camaro I just bought back has belltech 2" drop spindles with GC but im running koni reds all around. Ride is good with 18x8.5 &18x8

Re: Slammed Third Gens - Post Pics
I like it, you have adjustability of height. It all depends on what you are looking & wanting out of it. My camaro handles well, but its about time to rebuild the front supension. I have another set for my Formula that will go in after the SFC's & suspension mods.

hey 87350IROC, if i may ask.. what color is your car..? I use it as my inspiration and my goal. It's also my desk pic. Last weekend I picked up a burgundy 87 5.7 and going to restore it to stock except for the front stance. Just wondering what color it is..

Neat color, it can look orange, red, or purple depending on the light. Example of all three in one picture:

Re: Slammed Third Gens - Post Pics
The 92 is mine and isn't as slammed as I would like it. I do have racecraft front suspension with spindles. It's as low as I can go with k member and six speed crossmember. I am admiring all the other cars here. Thumbs up
