@mike22115 what size tires, spacers are you using? Also how far are your jacks turned? Im getting a set of C6's soon, I already have my GC, just need shocks & struts.

Fronts are 245/40/18 rears are 285/35/19 and I have 2 inch front adapters and 2 1/4 inch rear. but had to do some massaging of the rear wheel well for clearance, I'd recommend a 2.5 spacer in the rear for extra clearance and my suspension is at its lowest setting in front and the rear I have about a 1/4 inch left to go down on the adjuster

Ah I was hoping for around 25 all around, but I also have brand new struts so I'm gonna give them some time to wear in and maybe it'll go down a little more up front. I'll keep you posted

I'm just wondering if there is a reason the driver side door decal has the 350 in the wrong spot?? 350 formula instead of Formula350 ???

lol funny you ask. i actually talked to the person who did the body work/paint before i got it, and he did the body work and everythign and accedently put the decal on backwards on that door...its the way it sould be on the other side. but that was not my doing...the owner before the owner i got it from did that

My car should be nearly an inch lower in the front very soon, had to rebuild the suspension after hitting a wall at 50mph.

Re: Slammed Third Gens - Post Pics

Yeah, I'm fine, I think the car is mostly fine. I had to replace just about every component in the right front suspension (thank goodness I have a parts car). I'm currently looking for a RF fender and bumper cover. I still have more shows to go to this summer! It'll be better than new in no time.

I don't know how you guys lower your cars. I believe my car is still at stock height and it scrapes on everything. We even knocked the curb out at the house so I don't scrape going in and out of the driveway haha.

Haha are you sure it's stock height? Post a pic up. And anyone who say a slammed car is not daily driveable doesn't realize that when you lower the car your driving habits have to change, for example, trying to avoid speed bumps at all costs lol

It doesn't seem as low as some I've seen. I'm convinced the roads around me just suck. And the stuck up neighborhood down the street keeps putting in more speed bumps!

Sorry for the dark picture.

Re: Slammed Third Gens - Post Pics

theres no real straight answer as there are different variables and each person is different cut a 1/4 or 1/2 at a time till you get the stance you want is the best advice as if you cut to much you have to get new springs its a hassle but worth it in the end

Loose the strips on the roof and put some more rubber on those rims. I like it all. Paint the blisters silver too. id say a 9/10 for visuals. Looks good.

Zachary, those are some AMAZING wheels youve got on that car. I can only imagine they're some kind of BMW wheel? There are nowhere near enough wheels in dark gray. Makes for a really mean looking ride.

Which XXR? I see several similar ones, but none in 5x4.75. So Im guessing those are 5x120? Regardless, all those XXR wheels have that weird +35 offset... what size spacers did you end up running? Im wanting to get some XXR 962's.

yea all newer cars have that wierd offset and alot of cars nowadays are built on world chassis just different bodys on them lol alot of cars run those offsets especially imports but all cars are imports these days even american cars are technically imports lol but anyways lol

there 521 i used 1.25in front... 1 inch rear when i upgrade brakes to c5 or ls1 i will go to 1 inch in front to do extra track width added

i actually got the xxr 962 17x9.5 with custom center caps wheel face was silver i bought off a member here but UPS lost 3 and i only recieved 1 so i sold it lol those 962 you need at least 1.25 spacer but front wheel center cap wont fit so you have to go custom or go to 1.50 spacer i believe

Re: Slammed Third Gens - Post Pics

Anybody else sitting on the bump stops in the rear? Lol I'm on ground control and the rear end it's pretty much on the bump stops, anyway around this or does it matter at all because I COULD just adjust the rear up a little but I love the way the car sits rite now.
