Got my new 3rd gen today!

This guy at the car dealer was dead set on selling me a 4th gen, NEVER! I seen this 3rd gen and thought what a project car if I ever seen one. The car is a 1991 Firebird, 305 TBI. What a difference from my 11 second 92 Z28...... But, the car booked for $4500 and I talked him down to $2800. It needs a new paint job and some sanding, but what a steal! It's red and has the t-tops, so I am in love :-) Soon after paint, the ram air hood, new wheels and off to performance modifications... I will only keep the 305 in the car for about 6 months, then I will get a 383 put in there and she should scream.....

Well, anyone who owns a 91 305 bird tell me about yours and what I should expect..

Thanks for any imput!

That's awesome! It'd be cool if you could have kept your old car and get a new car for a project. I guess I got it lucky, a 92 RS for a daily driver and an 86 Z28 as a project. I never have time anymore, though. Oh well, as long as your having fun, right!

Edit: Updated my sig. too.

I will keep this one original color, 91 red. This car is mainly my girlfriends car, so who knows what we will do to it. My REAL next project car (besides a bullet bike) is going to be a 87-89 GTA, or back to a 70-73 camaro.

That to come in about a year.
