This thread is designed as a nomination board to narrow down to the top ten thirdgens found on this board. This is not a picture thread to post pictures of your own vehicle, and you cannot nominate your own vehicle. To nominate a member you must provide a user name and POST A GOOD PHOTO of the vehicle (for others to possibly 2nd, 3rd, 4th the nomination).

Once a vehicle has been nominated, there is no need to post additional pics, but please post with members screen name as a second, third etc nomination.

One nomination per member. So please do not list of your top 20 favorite cars... think about this, it will be an honor, pick one. If multiple nominations are made by a single member, I will only count the first posted member when creating a tally.

*** The 10 or less cars with the most nominations will be complied into a new thread the morning of April 15th, at which time poll format will be used to nominate the May car of the month ***

+1... Mean Sport Coupe, perfectly executed.

 

I would like to nominate Stage20. His car has to be one of the cleanest/fastest carbed LS thirdgen cars in the country. Stage20 and mw66nova are the reason I did the LS swap in my 84, props to both of them.

 

Another vote to nominate the mean white sport coupe!

 

Maybe there should be a COTM for just sport coupes?

Agreed 100% that just kills the front of the car.

 

Would still drive the dog poo poo out of it I think just about everyone with a Harwood? cowl hood had this same front hood to nose issue... Maybe more of a hood issue that proper fitament?

 

After this years cotm ends, someone should take all the pictures and make a tgo calender.

 

they come from harwood with that lip for shipping. it must be trimmed before it's painted. i have a harwood on my car

 

I've wanted to do the calendar for awhile. Kinda like LS1tech use to do with cars and girls. If there are alota people who might want one or do it can make it happen.... Thirgen cars and hot girls FTW, LOL.

haha, thanks! the car is far from perfect, but for being a test mule/weekend warrior at the drag strip, the car does well. it photographs really well for some reason. i intend to redo the entire car once i get my degree and a real job.

well, not really, lol. it's been a while since i've had a set of matching street wheels with good tires. the car sits on the slicks/skinnies mostly now.

however, the car hasn't really changed (you know this) so for folks who might want to know what kyle's talking about here ya go:



traction is pretty limited on a street tire (at just about any speed, in just about any gear) so i rock a drag radial most of the time now. here it is on hoosier drag radials on my billet specialties last summer

I have always loved TPI TERR's car

 

my nomination is for 66. its a bad azz ride that is no poser. maybe even kinda ofa sleeper look? radios and giant wheels dont appeal to me. its nice to see somebody build something fast and have fun with it.
