Classic Appearance

As there is a Modern Appearance Thread, I thought I should come up with a Classic Apperance Thread.

I am trimming my Firebird to look more like the old muscle cars and played a little in photoshop. As I am soon going to plasti-dip my car I am thinking of the color design.. Think I will stay with white

So heres what I´ve done:

ORIGINAL:

Plymouth Satellite Roadrunner Style

Plymouth Satellite Roadrunner Style + Lights at Nose

Old School Rear End Stripe

Old School + Plymouth

Old School Stipe + Firebird Logo

Stripe in Red + Logo

Stripe in Red

Stripe + Logo

Plymouth Satellite Roadrunner + SS / 350 Camaro Style + 2x Sidemarker

Plymouth Satellite Roadrunner + SS / 350 Camaro Style at Firebird Logo + 2x Sidemarker

and here is what I also think thats looking great:
the exhaust from the bandit on the thirdgen
also the paint is nice, but I dont think on a white bird

About the exhaust... I'm glad you posted the picture of the black T/A. I've always wondered how a 3rd gen car would look with that style of exhaust. I kinda like it.

I just found some more photos of that black T/A.

Doesn't look so great from the rear. They'd look a lot better pushed out to the sides of the body instead of being closer to the middle.

No, im more like trying to make a Pontiac look like a old style muscle car.

I am just a fan of this plymouth paint thing.
I also like the Camaro SS Striping a lot, as well as the combo of these.

what could be another old fashion thing to do on a bird..
How do you like the two side marker I did on the picture ?

Re: Classic Appearance

I like your car the way it is now really. The black TA is sweet, but the tips do look kinda funny from the rear.

Re: Classic Appearance

I'm kind of diggin' the red stripe idea with the sailbird, but i think the logo should be red as well.

Re: Classic Appearance

Pick a color. Either white with black, or white with red. Not white, red & black, as it looks like butt.
