I actually prefer my RZR Maxx HD phone over my Olympus FE4010.

Been using a 10MP Cannon Rebel XS (no longer made) and I have a 12MP Cannon Rebel T3.. Both take excellent pictures.
One thing is I really like my 18-200 lens, it makes life so much easier.
This was from an old Minolta Dimage7

Some of the best advise I can give anyone wanting to take pictures of cars is there was a book with a similar name "how to take pictures of cars" I learned more in 20 min than the years of just taking pictures... my pictures went from ho-hum to magazine quality..
Here are some suggestions.
1) the picture above, notice that the background is yellow, the car is yellow, you lose definition of the back of the car.
2) Take pictures from odd angles, do not just stand there and shoot a picture. Get on the ground, get on your knees, get on a ladder, a roof, up a tree, etc.
3) Avoid unsightly things in the background like telephone poles, half of buildings. However you can use background items to your advantage

4) Probably most important to taking good pictures of your car is to take pictures at sunset or sunrise, or on a cloudy day

None of which I did all at one time...
