This thread is a Nomination Thread to nominate cars that will compete for this month's Car of the Month honor. The 10 (or less) most popularly nominated cars will be compiled into a *Voting Thread* in a couple of weeks. If you do not nominate a member's car for COTM, you can still second or third (fourth, fifth, so on) someone else's nomination. cars must have at least a second nomination in order to make the Voting Thread.

Do not nominate your own car. Your car must be nominated by another TGO Member.

Do not ask your wife, husband, friends, extended family, etc. to register as TGO Members for the purpose of nominating your car. If you are nominated, do not ask people to register as TGO Members for the purpose of voting for your car.

Do not nominate more than one car.

Do not use multiple member accounts to nominate your own car, nominate multiple cars, vote for your own car, or vote multiple times.

This is not a picture thread. Post only ONE good photo of the car you wish to nominate. Do not use photo-edited pictures.

You must post a picture with your nomination.

Correctly identify the user name of the member who you nominate.

Correctly identify the year and model/trim of the car you nominate.

Do not nominate cars that are not in a high quality, finished state.

And if you are nominated, please DO go out and take an abundance of good quality photos of your ride (multiple angles, interior, engine) and make them publicly accessible (for example via a photo album in your public profile or some sort of hyperlink to your photo album.)

maybe a TTA or two then. i know that generally, if you've seen one you've seen them all, but I really like what Louis Hernandez (formerly known as Motobooks) did to his.

I do hope to see at least a couple of nice Firebirds in this (as in more than just one) in order to balance the voting if ya know what i mean.

Where are the 82 Pace cars?

If anniversary cars are legit, I'm curious, what was special about the 20th anniversary (87) camaros? Anything more than a dash badge? What was the anniversary editions for the firebirds and trans ams? Wasn't the trans am anniversary two years later than the Firebird and Camaro?

 

I nominated Joel I think about a year or so ago. His is a real nice car as is all the others nominated this month so far.

Well that really sucks! I used to thoroughly enjoy Luis' posts and threads. How can we get him back!?

 

 

Pontiac didn't do 20th anniversary edition for the Firebird in '87. They only ever commemorated the Trans Ams. Not much remarkable in a technical sense about any of the anniversary edition cars with the obvious exception of the '89 TTA.

the 15th Anniversary Trans Am look really good . I'd love to see how it looks with the headlights turned off.
