August 2015 COTM **WINNER**
Congratulations to Chazman, with his stock 1989 IROC, for being voted by the ThirdGen.Org Community (the largest Third Generation F-Body Collective world-wide) as the August 2015 Car of the Month. When it comes to bone stock restorations and low-mile, preserved '82-'92 F-Bodies, some of the best in the world can be found on TGO, which makes this win truly special. Congrats to the winner and all the nominees.

Thanks so much, guys. And thanks to the rest of the nominees for having such awesome cars.
This was this car's third time being nominated for COTM. I'm glad it won, because it was starting to get a complex.

Which reminds me of a story. I was standing near some know-it-all guy at a cruise night, while he was critiquing my car's "restoration". He didn't know I was the owner and it was pretty hilarious.
He was telling his friend it had 109K miles on it, (odo at the time said 9K), was DEFINITELY a California car before the full resto, (it was born in Van Nuys, afterall
) and for sure did not have the factory tail lights. He went on about some other stuff I can't remember, also. My son and I still laugh about it. Re: August 2015 COTM **WINNER**
Congrats chazman on the win. Your car is super nice and clean. Your engine bay picture has motivated me to work on the exhaust manifolds on the Formula. Gonna get some of that Calyx.
