New to the third gen forum. My first car was a 1989 RS with the 2.8 (it did have some awesome racing stripes though). Fast forward 20 years and I bought this 1991 about a month ago. I was hoping someone knew some information on it or has seen it in years past. The guy I bought it from did not have any build info or receipts (he was never given any). He thought it was a 355. I would love to verify this, as well as other specifics - cam, pistons, etc. The car started life as a 305 RS. Whoever did the body work did a pretty good job shaving the door handles, gas cap, front nose and rear bumper to the fenders. It participated in the 2011 Hot Rod Power Tour, or someone just put a sticker on it. The build is starting to show its age with some flaws here and there. But hey, it's a driver! The car was shipped from Florida to Georgia. The guy I bought it from flew to Georgia and drove it home to Texas. I know it is a long shot, but maybe someone knows something. Thanks in advance! Marc.
Those seats look very steep on the bottom part, like your butt would be on the floor and your knees would be up high. Could just be an illusion from the picture. They sure do look very comfy and very old school. Great looking car.
Gorgous car! I'm curious about the holes in the ground effect just in front of the rear wheels... side exit exhaust? I'd love to see some under body pics to see how that was routed?

Thanks. There is side exit exhaust but the holes are only for looks. Exhaust exits just below it. I think it would be pretty difficult to make it actually work there without some body work.
