Congratulations, BizJetTech, you and your car are TGO's April 2020 Car of the Month!
This was the first ever "Low original miles" category in 8 years of Car of the Month. And why did it take so long?! The field was stacked with low mile, pristine vehicles that could wow any crowd. The kind of vehicles we'll see again in the future, I'm sure!
As one person said, "This was hands down the toughest month I can remember for COTM. I would be absolutely thrilled to have either one of them in my garage, and to me they are all on a pretty level playing field."
But one does have to be chosen and the lone Pontiac in the group ran away with the win. Read on to see the 10,800 mile Trans Am that is our first Under 20K Original Miles category winner.
This car was part of a private collection and the previous owner traded it to Restore A Muscle Car for a 1973 Firebird Formula 455 - The guys there notified me that it was available and I decided to jump on it.
It's a beautiful, very original, example of an 1987 T/A with 10,800 miles. (Yes, I am the high mileage car in this group - LOL). It has somewhat rare cloth / leather seats and is nicely optioned. Unfortunately, the Gatorbacks had already been removed but other than that, it's all original.
Thanks guys - this is a fun site with a bunch of great folks and awesome third gens and I'm happy to be a part of the group!! I applaud the other cars in this months group - totally incredible cars and this T/A is the ODDBALL in the group (as is usual for a Pontiac)
I didn't say anything earlier but you know when somebody is nominated I always go through old records to see if the car has been nominated recently, whether the person was a no show, and things like that. I've just got to say I was shocked that BizJetTech has never been nominated for COTM in the past! Can you believe that??? All the fantastic cars he's owned, the long time membership here.... and we let all those beautiful cars come and go without a COTM nomination. So you can probably understand why he might be just a little bit excited about the whole thing this month!

Love this car. And I'm really not usually a fan of the regular red, preferring the darker reds. But this one really caught my eye.
Every month it's tough to really pick a favorite. This month, with pristine, low-mileage cars, it was an impossible choice. I'd love to have any of this group.

I dont know what to say other than I am truly honored to have my 87 T/A voted as TGO COTM.
The competition was incredible - I was blown away by the other cars that were nominated, such great cars,
such low miles, such great stories and such awesome owners!
I thank QwkTrip for his time, effort, hard work and for making a great monthly event here on TGO !!
I thank all the members here, you guys make it so much fun to be here...
