Can someone please list EVERY difference between an 87 Pontiac Firebird 2.8L V6 no power options...and an 87 Firebird Formula???

Does the formula have GFX?

-Formulas have V8's, either the 305 or 350
-Third generation formulas ALL got the WS6 package.
(this includes 16 inch wheels, bigger swaybars, stiffer suspension, four wheel disc brakes, i think a few other things)
-Formulas did not ever come with ground effects.
-All formulas got the turbo hood (the scoop that comes up to the drivers side.

I have an 87 trans am, I have the performance suspension. but my car has brum brakes out back. I thought it was a ws6, it has a harder suspension then my friends v6 firebird. and hers is a 92.

My '88 Formula's got Drums in the rear too, and I am almost positive it's got the WS6 suspension. I have the 305 TBI 5-spd, was that a down-graded option in 1988? Didn't they come standard with Tuned Port?

Level I suspension, base model
Level II suspension "performance suspension" on dash, means bigger swaybars and stiffer
Level III suspension (WS6) even bigger swaybars, even stiffer.

Its possible to have a "performance suspension" level II that is, and not have WS6.

Check your RPO codes either your glovebox or trunk glovebox and see if it has the WS6 code in it. Its possible that the all wheel disc was optioned in later, maybe the 90-92 cars. A formula could be had with the 305 tbi as well.

I did some research and it looks like disc rears were optional. Sorry about that.
