ive been calling around and places want at least 800 bucks to do them i had a place that was gonna do it for like 400 plus shipping but i have seem to lost # thanks

 

$800 is what I paid to have mine done. $400 seems way too cheap. You sure they were going to do a good polish job on them? That is just as, if not more important than the actual plating.

 

The only place that I know of is the chrome shop that I get all my stuff done at. I don't remember the web address for them, but there is a link to them on my web page. You can email them and see if they even do wheels.

 

I had mine polished and clearcoated here in Houston for about $100 a rim.

Did an excellent job.

expect to pay alot more than 800 for tripple plating like this!

most places you send out to will do a single plating.....expect 6-800 and the quality will very on how good the polishing is done; just like blue said.

 

Yeah, mine are triple plated, but I forgot to mention that the $800 price was when I did them back in '93.

 

I'm glad I can do all the polishing myself, but I need to find a good chromer or get Mark to chrome rims.

 

Kandied, that looks sweet as hell. I know I want to get that done some day now. I thought about it, but after seeing, Im set.

SonarUn, where did you go in Houston to have them done? Since Im only an hour south its no big deal to take them up there. I know of a coupla places that do powder coating, but I havent found any that do that kinda stuff.
