Re: appearance of my bird

twin Turbo Hood (black inserts)
85 TA Ground effects
Stainless steel dual tip exhaust
Taillight Blackouts
Clear Corners
Black "Screaming Chicken" for hood
Black bird for rear window Either put the bird on the hood or the rear window, but not both.
Neon Yellow Underglow
Blue wheel lights In a word- no.
Headlights Strobes Then you can put a Type-R badge on the side too
1.5 inch drop
17 inch Rims

My opinions in bold. But remember, its your car, do what you want. I see you are new to the boards- Welcome. And be warned, some things you want to do to your car will catch some negative opinions, which should be expected. Not all opinions are going to agree with yours.

I wasn't "making fun of" them, I was giving my opinion. You asked what we think, I told you what I think. I'm not a big fan of doing the usual import stuff to American cars. The rest of the stuff I think would look fine. But you are the one driving the car, so you should do whatever you want with it. My opinion shouldn't matter.

yeah sorry bro, these guys aren't too nice when it comes to '***** mods' lol but they are still cool ppl. just gotta take it in stride (comes with the territory)... but anyway, I think you should come up with a color scheme or something ... sounds like you wanna use too many colors and it might look off? Like maybe just decide on the white paint and a single other color to use for strobes, neons, accents, ect ... just an idea. the rims and drop will make the nicest change to the appearance. i'm not a fan of the turbo hoods but if you like it then go for it. I think the strobe lights would be cool ... but not sure where you would put them (our headlights aren't good for em .. just the new crystal hid style headlights).

How nice can I sound if I don't like what hes going to do? I said my opinion pretty nicely. I could have just started ranting and raving on rice. I know, I could have just put a simple "no" instead of the Type-R comment, but I wanted to get my point across. I did make sure to tell him to do whatever he wants with his car, since it is HIS car and not mine.

BTW: What kind of 17" rims are you lookin at?

PLEASE!!

Dude; Take that Bra off; Seriously man them things do more HARM then good! My Sister had one on her car, sure it was snug, but when you go onto the highway the wind loosens them; and rocks and dust get into it then the wind moves the bra a bit and cratches the **** outa your paint job and and chips it. She's nicer without a bra. '

I agree with CrazyHawaiian, pick one accent color and go with that. If you get to many different colors people will just notice the colors and not the car.

As far a strobes, I have them in my side markers, front signals, and taillights. The taillights are great because next to the turn signals (on mine) there was a blank space with no light, so I placed the strobe there. They are great eye catchers for shows.

As far as the multiple birds. I say just go with one. The hood is traditional and the back window is more of current style.

Ultimately, you drive the car everyday, you have to look at it. So it is up to you to create what you want to see.

Most people on the list would say I have done too much to mine. That is too different from a stock 3rd gen. I show the car, so I need something that is eye catching. At shows I get hit for it being too stock. But 99% of the time people love the car. Even when I'm not showing, I always have someone asking questions or telling me they like the car.
