Did you hook up one wire or two? I remember having the same problem with mine. I had to clip some of the thick wire that extended out of the horn button. Then I ran the wire that runs inside the column (for the horn relay). Then I realized
I didn't run the ground wire to the little grounding plate they give you. I had to eventually take the whole wheel apart to get the grounding plate in. Once I did that it worked fine. Just be careful ... I rushed it the first time and didn't realized I pinched a wire. After about 2 hours of pressure it pierced the rubber insulation and made contact. There I am, in my mother-in-law's house, saying "who the hell is sitting on their horn".
It's not fun trying to disconnect the horns while the friggin things are locked on! Your ears ring and your fingers vibrate.

my brother has an 11inch grant in his car...the horn used to work before someone broke into his car and busted the steering column..but its somewhat fixed xcept horn oh well ..who needs a horn when your car is louder than it..
ok, so i took my wheel off, and i quess it wasnt grounded so adjusted the little plastic piece retainer that holds the spring in, but now i think the wire got to crimped from the retainer bieng to long initially that when i reconnect the battery the horn wont stop....will the sh*t ever stop happening to me?? ok, so ?? is they sell just the wire?

Any wire will do. Just clip the end off the one that came with the wheel and attach it to a new one. Then take some electrical tape and wrap it around the wire REAL tight. It worked for me!

the day your horn goes is the day that everyone on the road becomes an a$$hole. my uncle borrowed my camaro one day, he tried to use the lighter and it blew a fuse, so my horn didn't work. that next day, like 4 people cut me off, and i had no horn to slam on. i beat the hell out of the steering wheel though
Dude havn't you fixed that friggin thing yet, man it must be a pain in the butt for ya, mine broke as well but I just cut another slit in it and it stayed in OK. I'm asuming it broke in the push turn locator
yeah thats it, it broke there, i rigged up a repair and it broke again..the sh*t is driving me crazy....if a want to honk i have to physical touch the contact to the wheel...lol....it just keeps taunting me
i finally fixed the ground wire and the retainer that holds it, now i think the horn relay is blown cuz still no friggin horn
has anyone ever jsy by passed the wheel and monted a ground interupting button on the dash or wheel, like a door bell button for the horn... i think thats the only way i can fix it...also how do i test the relay under the dash

ok ok, i realize i basically repeated my initial question, my bad...i checked the ground, it seems to fine, i think the problem is the plastic retainer is broken, so i am gonna try and bypass that and mount a horn button on the dash...was just wondering if anyone had done that...side note is that i think the horn relay is blown....ok, you all can call me a moron now if ya want
yeah i recut the retainer, but i thinjk the relay under the dash is blown. anyway i am replacing the relay and if it still gives me trouble i will rewire it....this is just taking me so long cuz i have no time to ork on it...thanx for the help though
